How to applique with a Janome Embroidery Machine

Great demonstration for a beginner like me. Could you share what brand embroidery thread you use for the top and the bobbin?

Did you use tear away or cut away stabilizer?

for this specific project i used cut away however if you are making a shirt i would recommend tear away

Do applique files automatically include the tack-down stitch and the machine knows to stop for you to place your extra fabric down after?
