Review Of The Shell Car Wash in Ancaster

Welcome to my review of the Shell car wash in Ancaster Ontario Canada. I'm glad I revisited this wash. Its been a few years and it looks as though they've made some good changes. All things considered, this wash did a really good job. This is a wash I would definitely recommend if you like the soft cloth washes. Don't forget, you save two dollars on the wash if you get gas. Before this was a Mark VII tunnel, it was a late 90’s Belanger mini tunnel with an AirStream dryer. It was sadly replaced in 2012 with the Mark VII tunnel.

I just purchased a new car and naturally wanted to look after it as best as I could. When surveying car detailing on UA-cam I discovered some disturbing facts. Professional detailers all condemn public car washes. There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, the customer has no control over the alkalinity of the detergent used. It would be reasonable to assume that the car wash uses a strong detergent to maximize the removal of dirt and grime. However, a high Ph can effect the paint's clear coat over time and dull the gloss. Secondly. the customer has no way of knowing how abrasive are the brushes used. Grains of dirt and/or grime can easily be picked up by these brushes from previous vehicles and scratch the finish of your car. The decision as to how you clean the exterior of your car hinges on your choice of convenience and economy or optimal maintenance.

I like touchless car washs and tunnel car washs. I dont like washing my car when I work because of the people they do suff i dont like I have a pass at lucky car wash great job
