Band of the 90s for me with no doubt. Saw them in the dance tent at glasto 95 on mushrooms and it rewrote my whole soul. Saw them again a few times then at glasto again in 2004 in the lost vagueness and that was the most epic performance from them I've ever seen. It was so epic I completely lost myself in the music and other than the gig stage brain being back and a girl with an alien in her backpack in front of me and it being crazy busy I have little recollection except it was earth shatteringly epic and excellent and the best performance that festival. i think the unit at the top of the rack is a ROLAND DIGITAL DELAY set to 1000's of a second, i have one too, and that guy there is tweaking it and it's impressive, if he had access to the back of it you can further tilt the speeds up so it literally sounds like a flying saucer taking off on it... and you CAN fry an egg on it, literally... nice!!!

Used to be three people back in the day :) The 'Prepare Your Spirit' album era was the best imho. The three of them rocking out, tweaking dials in front of a massive flashing replica brain - good times / memories indeed :D
well i dont know what you think what he is doing there, but he turns the knobs on the analog desk 24/7, which has absolutely no effect on the music because the mixer is not even in use. the usual commercial freak show where somebody pretends to "play" something.
It is more closed to DJeing than a real live , all the tracks are done at home and he press "play" and simulates whith his mixer to turn buttons etc... , but for me these lives acts are fake.How he plays whith his mixtape to simulate the cutoff of the tb303 is just ridiculous.The real player is called Ableton live.Any techno/electro live whithout a synths samplers or a drum machines are definitively not lives .A 5 YO kid also can press "start".

This is why I stopped buying Eat Static records after they produced Contact. They were just repeating beats and sounds with no real musical/dance purpose. It was ultra commercial
