I agree with you on this update. It's ridiculously expensive to have two specials going on at the same time. That being said I've gotten two of the BA commanders and the tirpitz from crates. Wargaming makes them pretty strong in my opinion taken with a mountain of salt since i just started playing around Azure Lane 5. They could put the skills on adult drawn commanders and on top of that each new wave power creeps the one ypu brought before.
This is basically like the Italian update all over again. They should of just made adult commanders. Not child commanders. I agree with you . It don't bother me that much but im deff not buying them. If I get one from a crate then fine
Did you take into count the treasure hunt event that begins next week on August 12th? You may get “free” event currency from that as well, making it slightly less painful in the wallet, but probably not much.

It's not worth it. I played it and it's meh . I already got lenin and stallingrad and Vallejo after 8 spins I also got san Diego from a Xmas crate this update
you dont have to scroll through the campaign just go the AB (hit square) and you'll see the tally.. there's also some currency from the web event but maybe just 500
Good thing is if u want the other ships 6.5k event currency, u can do it for only 10 euro, buy the battlepass, do the calander and do the new key event thing and youll be able to get up to 6.5

Why get a Borodino when you can get Rio, Georgia, Independence, the BA ships or commanders. Btw your boomer speak about the BA commander made my day, it was pretty funny. But maaan I respect your options about fan service and the weeb stuff. Because this event I myself got blue archive and I enjoyed playing the game.
I understand the reasoning and why people would want those commanders, they are very powerful... I just wish wargaming would put those skills on more appropriate adult themed characters, and not teenage girls in mini skirts.

Lots of good points here but i wouldn’t take the anime collab to serious as next update you will probably be able to turn off the collab stuff if you don’t want to see it just like the other collabs. As for the borodino I wouldn’t bother getting it due to it not being that impressive but also being able to get the other premiums on for free if you get the campaign and remember the web event. If you’re bent on buying something and can look past the anime weirdness, I would get the BA crates as they have better stuff than in them that’s actually useful and isn’t polluted by camos
I actually really enjoy the "lazy" camos, they're very simple and don't distract from the game. I am not saying nice camos are bad, they're cool, my favorite camo is still the historical camo for Amalfi. But that's exactly what these camos that come with the ships are (supposed to be), historical. Sure a red and gold, flashy camo looks cool but I can't guarantee it would help much on the battle...water?
So it's going to cost $105 if you pay all the days on the calendar and buy in the campaign. I don't play every day so i can't likely finish the calendar.

Aside from some of the more extreme dazzle camos used in the World Wars, warship paint jobs have always tended to be downright boring in real life.
There are starting to be some pretty tough prices. It can perhaps be concluded that Borodino will not be seen after this month, at least for a while, if ever. I wonder if they did something to that camo after the test. I thought it was more cool then. It is very good that you can also get old ships. The BA collab is a bit weird. Enough of the anime is starting anyway. There is still indeed a difference between these and Azur lane characters graphically. If you look closely, it seems strange that little girls probably don't play this game very much. They would probably like those characters.

I know at least one that turns into a boat... Warhammer... Space Marines. But this collab has nothing to do with anything navy/ship related.

Wargaming has received enough of my money, I got bills, a family to take care of, pets I can save up and buy a car or another PS5 for the amount they want me to spend.
One of my favorite things about the PC version is the ability to mod the commanders pictures voices etc, I wish they had a way to turn on historical mode or something like that.

I agree with this. I am fine with the Azur Lane, Transformers, Star Trek, and Warhammer 40k collaborations, THESE COLLABORATIONS MAKE SENSE. However, Blue Archive is sort of cringeworthy and downright unnatural as it is nonsensical. I believe they need to collaborate with genres such as third person shooters or first person shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield, but Blue Archive collaborating the World of Warships franchise is not a long-term benefit.

Lots of good points here but i wouldn’t take the anime collab to serious as next update you will probably be able to turn off the collab stuff if you don’t want to see it just like the other collabs.
