Ehhh.. I was all into the 'Play' album and a few others (Hotel was good) back in the day, but this is very meh. If you're going for the whole spoken-word style instead of singing, then the lyrics have to be a bit more captivating than this.

why is Lydia Rene not the female lead (or anyone else from the gospel choir)? I liked her powerful voice so much better on the original record. This girl´s just trying real hard but does not get anywhere near in my opinion...
