    I left Guyana 39 yrs. ago for T&T where I was actually born after spending 11yrs. in Guyana. It was so good to see Georgetown again. Thank you very much. I want to ask you to do more videos of different places around Guyana, like New Amsterdam Berbice where I also lived as a young child.

      +SAT tsmik Sorry for the late reply , but we did stop for lunch at 1;08:00 , the place is called Marjis or Margis I think . I can remember the FOOD, it's really good, it's a creole restaurant. We had some chowmein and macaroni and chicken, fish cakes. One of our guys wasn't eating meat that day so he had Dholl and rice and bagee. (lol)
      The place is on Princess and Smyth streets across from the old Licence Office, you should try them out one day, you will be happy.

Saludos.... El mundo es nuestro, es de Todos!!!!

    I’m curious about Guyana and considering visiting. Do you have any recommended reading sources about Guyana? And what are the primary languages spoken in the main city?

    • @RealNiceGuyana
      @RealNiceGuyana  6 років тому

      The language spoken throughout Guyana is an English based
      creole language , which is also referred to as broken English. You will not understand a single word, however Guyana's official language is English so we can communicate with persons speaking standard English.

    I would definitely like to go to Guyana one day, but the crime rate does worry me, since it's not a prosperous country, so to speak.. But crime is pretty high in the U.S., so maybe it isn't such a big deal. It's on my top 10 places to go before I die, though.

    Suriname and Guyana border
    The east-south part of Guyana, also knows as Tigri-Triangle, is Suriname ground. The river Kurini is a small river of the Corantineriver. The Guyana people call the Up Corantineriver, New River. That is wrong!!!!. The wright name of that river is Corantineriver, don't forget that.
    The map of Suriname you see in website map geography all over the world or online, is not the wright map of Suriname. If you want to see the wright map of Suriname, visite websites of Suriname online and see the wright map of Suriname. Suriname is ok!

And de silva Guyanese have always looked to the progressive countrys like Canada and America to go to,as they thought the other south american country s are backwards
