I love how you keep re-empasising the Graciousness and Faithfulness of God that is magnified in the journey of this couple. I was reading the same passage as well today and I noticed how Abraham and Sarah's walk of faith and obedience was not a perfect one but the Lord remained faithful and gave Abraham His word during many parts of the journey, assuring him of His promises. As human and imperfect as Abraham was, the Lord was pleased by his faith and it was credited to him as righteousness. One of the lessons I took from this passage thus far is that; the fulfilment of the promises of God may take longer than we expect and even happen differently from what we had anticipated, but they will be fulfilled because His Word never returns void so, let us trust the Shepherd of our souls, and seek Him continually so that we may always be found in His will, which is the best place to be.
