  • We tested these two infrared sauna devices from Higher Dose and Therasage for EMFs and for formaldehyde off-gassing. We love the benefits of sauna use, but can there be harmful health effects by using these two low cost units?

    I am not convinced that this is an accurate review. He said he tested it but at the end of the review he mentioned he never ysed it. I purchased a Higherdose blanket about 4 months ago, and my family and I have seen great results. My daughter has struggled with eczema for 30 years. She started seeing a huge improvement within 2 weeks of using Higherdose. We all feel much better, we sleep better, and we have clearer skin. Also, when using Higherdose, you don't lay in your sweat because you must be fully dressed, just as you would when you exercise. You sweat in your clothes. This video could cause someone to walk away from a product that could actually improve their health. You can't trust every person who put a review on UA-cam. Do your own research.

    According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, formaldehyde is normally present at low levels (less than 0.03 ppm or 30 ppb) in both indoor and outdoor air. Materials containing formaldehyde can release it as a gas or vapor into the air. Automobile exhaust is a major source of formaldehyde in outdoor air.

    Emf is everywhere and on every device.. when you type on the keyboard, when you hold your phone, when u r near a wifi, when you open the fridge… etc.
    They just want to use a marketing technique with the emf BS to bring down a product and lift up another… and this video is an example 🤗

      I am an emf sufferer and I can tell you it's very real - can't hold on to a cell phone past 5 minutes as my hands literally burn - if I stay on it longer I can feel the burning move up my arms to my chest - when I am on way too long I start to have digestive issues. so not bs - unfortunately for me

    I think this is a little suspicious, how he changed meters that makes no sense to me and then switched back to the other meter for his product that he endorses and actually sells… There’s other videos that show the higher dose being emf tested and it’s not high EMF of course where the plug plugs in it’s going to be a little bit higher, but your feet get nowhere near that… He should have measured where your feet actually fall on the blanket or in the blanket, rather… And another thing it comes with instructions that tell you that you need to be fully clothed so that you don’t absorb sweat and you’re not laying on the vinyl - you can also put a beautiful Bamboo liner that they sell and not have to wear clothes and that’s really super comfortable…just saying
    Wonder why he switched devices 🧐

      Let's not forget that this guy is trying to sell too.
      It's very much like an "as seen on tv" commercial.
      Notice how he wears scrubs-like clothes as to project "authority and wisdom"
      I love my $180.00 sauna from Amazon. Used it for 2 years and haven't dropped dead yet.
      If it wasn't EMF they would say it's the SVVS (Spectrometric Vector Variances Syndrome.)

    So many questions...1. Infrared radiation itself is electromagnetic, so what are you measuring with the device? Only radio waves? Only low frequency? Or something else? 2. You are not supposed to lay in those bags with any of your skin making any direct contact with the inside of the bag, so that's a non-issue. I actually put castor oil over my whole body and lay inside a cotton blanket liner while in my bag. 3. I agree, heating plastic is bad, not just because of formaldehyde, but for the many synthetic chemicals in plastics that can potentially bathe your face in a soup of toxic gas while laying there. Most of these bags use "PU leather" on the outside, which is polyurethane, silicone, and polyester, with glue and resin applied superficially, and we don't know what type of plastic is used on the inside "waterproof lining". For that reason, I keep a window open and a fan blowing air away from my face while using it, then leave the window open for awhile in that room. I am hoping that it may off-gas less and less over time.

    • @taniaandrews490
      @taniaandrews490 Рік тому +3

      I agree with your comments. It's impossible to lay in your sweat while using Higherdose because you have to be fully clothed, or you must use an insert. I sometimes use the insert, and other times, I wear athletic gear.

    Under 2 or 3 what? You don’t even specify units…
    I find your analysis and investigation very “unscientific”.
    Wave those measurement devices near any electrical device/controller and see what you get.. I think you’ll be surprised.

  • @ThatCube
    @ThatCube Рік тому +10

    It's disgusting and dishonest the way that you mislead people to buy the product you endorse. It's truly disappointing because I would be curious to see an honest review of these products, but instead you are misleading viewers into thinking one is better then the other, but we'll never know because you didn't test them equally.
    You don't put the EMF reader near the controller OR the plug of your "better" tent, you only do this for the blanket. ANY PLUG of ANY KIND for ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE will have high levels of EMF with this trifield meter you're testing with (I have one).
    You don't measure EMFs of the higher dose blanket anywhere that you would actually be laying. You measured it OUTSIDE of the blanket, at the very bottom in the corner, where there are more electronics.
    You only use 1 formaldehyde sensor in your tent, but you use 2 for the blanket, and we're just supposed to believe that what you're saying at face value.
    The blanket is ALSO advertised as "low EMF" so I highly doubt it's anywhere near what you're measuring where you're actually supposed to lay.
