the baneling rightclick on nexus was done right after surrounding it it's actually a clever way of making a sort of large radius of explosion, you can see alot of the probes still went down
@Kyler Dowling nice dude, dw zerg is a bit weird like that, it's harder below diamond for some reason but as you get closer to master league it gets kinda easier, at least compared to Terran, I can't speak for toss as I rarely played toss. And then (basically m1/absolute bottom gm it balances out again with the other races) hence why I never got past that point, my apm and micro was never good enough to keep up with the creep spread/injects required at that point, and as for Terran my micro was just plain shit haha

I don't remember where I've read it but a floating pylon emmits a levitation force to the ground which makes the ground beneath rock solid. Maybe it also makes it difficult for burrowrd roaches to "swim" through that hardened soil.

@@ionracas8743 I think lowko is the best SC2 caster.... but i honestly dont care what the thumbnails are. It takes a lot of work to put together a video and upload it and whatnot so i never worry what the thumbnail is. Its tiring to create new titles all the time! and lowko uploads every day!
That fight at 26:40 was played so beautiful of goblin imo. My silver game knowledge tells me, that he stuck on stalkers way too long without dealing direct damage
The problem with protoss is they keep getting buffs on already very good units, this means that on the ladder, they're allowed to make mistakes but the units are so good they make up for it, then when they get to pvz in tournaments, they have a ton of zerg players who've been beaten senseless by the tiniest mistake and have had to up their skill significantly to compensate
To all people curious as why lowko said 20 bane for an archon is because bane do bonus dmg only to light otherwise only 18 after 1st nerf the 2nd is in test mod which is 15
They're like hellions or adepts. They deal 40 damage vs light units like workers, marines and zerglings, and only 18 vs everything else; hellion and adepts have similar bonuses vs light units. It's also worth noting that vs buildings they deal spell damage (I can't remember how much) instead of their normal attack. This means that it takes almost as many banes to kill an archon as it does to kill a planetary fortress.
Me getting back into the game 4 months ago when 99% of Protoss open with stargate: “Did he just say archon, immortal, zealot?… I- I didn’t know that was allowed”
P got such insanely strong static defence seeing them die to counter attacks is like "silly"... 2 photons+shield bat negates most counters, 2shield bat 3 photons negates almost every counter you can do and it is a low investment to be safe and not need to micro on counter attacks
I'm pretty sure he's justholding down the zergling key. APM also counts trying to build lings when you've run out of larvae. It massively inflates your APM

Has Lowko ever reviewed games from bronze league? I feel like it would be funny to get his reactions to the absolute worst games available. I am talking games with no cohesive comps, little to no strategy, and as little understanding of the game as possible. I could watch a couple games of 'what the heck are they doing?'
Can anyone explain to me this: Lowko has said that top level Protoss always seem to want to do more with their lategame comp, as most they can do is landing some storm or a good feedback, and maybe micro the Mothership a bit. This makes their army too predictable and conventional than the Zerg. But why isn't anyone adding some Disruptor to the mix ? Their Purification Nova seems to be the ultimate zoning tool the Protoss have. Surely against those like Serral, Reynor, it is almost impossible to land a good hit but it will certainly force them back to gain momentum. So why isn't any Protoss player doing that ?

It see's use in roach ravager match ups (like this game) but generally due to the creep speed boost and high burst damage of zerg units you sort of hoping they stick on roach ravager and that you can jump on them after they miss biles.

I think that creep tumors should act as like small sensor towers, only showing the ground units that has step on the creep (and not in the whole radius), that will balance stuff a lot.
If you check balance report at aligulac you can see that protoss players win too much comparatively to their skill (at the highest level of the ladder). So no, if you wanna get to GM with the least effort you should practice Protoss.

There is a void (10) achevement that doesn't alow you to create imortals, but with warp harmoniaisation you can, negating the chalange compleatly.

So archon 350 shield + 10 hp = 360
360/15 = 24 banelings
They're like hellions or adepts. They deal 40 damage vs light units like workers, marines and zerglings, and only 18 vs everything else; hellion and adepts have similar bonuses vs light units.

A protoss storm is used for big fights but what if you setoff 1 at every bass just to kill worker unites its a under used play .
The pros don't do that because it is such a high investment/risk. If the prism dies, you just lost a prism and 4 high templar with storm
Which cost 200 minerals for the prism plus 50 mins and 150 gas per high templar which totals to 400 minerals and (more importantly) 600 gas
