Excellent video on this process. I have a broken wire inside that door panel that goes to the light on the bottom. I could perhaps use the trick of attaching the new wire to the existing one while pulling it out but the existing wire won't budge. Do you know of any way to at least partially disassemble the bottom part of the door to free up that wire?

Any idea if you could take this door off and replace it with a door that doesn't have water/ice built in? I bought a house and there is no water line running to the fridge.
@@kelseystriplin506 The new door usually comes with the wiring harness pre-installed from the factory, if you are referring to the one that comes out of the top of the door.
Can you adjust the height of these doors. They just delivered all new appliances to my daughters new house. The right door is 1/4 inch lower than the left! How do I fix this?
Yes you can! On most Samsung refrigerators there is an allen screw recessed in a hole on the bottom side of the middle hinge. Screw in/out to adjust the door height.
after reattaching doors the alarm will sound and turn off interior light as if i left the doors open even when they are closed. now the fridge is not cooling because they think my doors are open. what do i do
It's not door replacement that we need to remove the doors for we need to remove the doors to get them through the house door that is only 30 inches across. We need them get to get through this 30-inch house door to the kitchen
If the refrigerator was moved then the doors may need to be adjusted. Check the owners manual for instructions on leveling the doors. Some Samsung models have an adjustment screw on the bottom of the hinge.
@@PartsDr so I see the grounding wire that looked taped down. This actually actually has pins, looks similar to the one that I attached to the top of the panel cover and sits right next to it

Sorry, we do not know of a way to do that. The doors are filled with foam at the factory and they are not designed to be taken apart and serviced.

Any tape strong enough to secure the door that will not leave a residue on it should work.

Can you do it by removing the bottom hinge? Seems simpler. Mine has no electrical connections to door.
You can certainly try it that way, but it is better to remove the top hinge.

Wouldn't this be considered the right door?
On refrigerators, left and right is as you are facing the refrigerator. So the door shown in the video with the dispenser is considered the left door.
