I'm the same, its an amazing time of day and the best fishing. Hope you enjoy your trip - Ive only explored there once before. I'll have to have a look.
Thumbs up from me Colin. Nice Gummy and Snapper. Been thinking of getting a drone for a while now but I think I would just kill it somehow lol. Enjoyed the video mate.
I've got a range of gear, rods aren't typically flash, I've got history of breaking them... but 6-10kg, 6000 or 8000 reel, 30lb braid. But, you can get them on lighter gear, just take your time... 6/0 hooks, often with flasher rigs and fresh bait is best. Do you get out around Batemans?
Your Fishabout will be very similar I'd say. I think it looks a bit rougher in the vid cause the camera is attached to the boat. Wasn't that rough. A 5m boat is a good size but you still need to pick your weather and sea conditions to be safe. Will you be fishing out of Batemans?
Love the early starts and sunrises after getting over the Clyde! Hoping to get down to the Tomaga for a couple of weeks in July.

Thanks for sharing. In the middle of buying a boat - hopefully we’ll see you done in the Bay soon.
Thanks for watching.
Good luck with your boat buying. Get on the water and enjoy what our lovely South Coast has to offer!
well done mate ,,,,,, another good vid
Thanks Mate; your tips and tricks are helping me heaps!

Cliff, the drone is cool and adds something cool to the vids. After drowning the first one, I'm a bit scared of using it from the boat again...
@@AdventureCD LOL that's what I'm worried about.
Decent looking swell too!!!
Great video.. keep it up.
Thanks Matin.
Im waiting for the weather to calm down then will be launching 85 kms south of esperance cant wait
Water over near Esperance always looks amazing!
Hope you get a great day on the water.
Good stuff lads,
but where was the "guide" part?
I ended up hooking about 3 sharks and a nice snapper in that spot the other day. I only got one shark near the boat, it would have been near 2m.
Sharks made it a bit interesting!
Nice snapper mate! shame you snapped off on the first one though! I chucked a sub, love the content.
Thanks for the sub! Hopefully I'll have a bit of new footage stitched together in the next weeks! Keep an eye out.
@@AdventureCD will do man
What rod did you use for the gummy shark?

What size boat is that ?
Quintrex 490 Coast Runner. 5.3m overall. It's a great all rounder.
@@AdventureCD seems to throw you around a bit
I have a 5mtr newer fishabout and haven’t taken it out yet
Hopefully it’s not too bad
