If you have any fine craft wire try having that in his legs, thats helped when I made different dolls in the past! He turned out so cute!!
Hey, could you explain how to fix the wire…, mean start and end? At the moment I am wondering how to do that so that the wire would not move around or the ends comes outside That would be great🙏
@@Teatime-mq6bv when I've used wire before I just cut it so its not as long as the piece I'm putting it through. I also had the wire through the center of the piece so it couldn't be pulled out easily. I hope this makes sense!

I have the pattern and am about to try and make a larger version out of dk/aran weight yarn to try and practice the pattern. I had so much trouble with the legs because his hips like weren't attached at all and I had to completely sew them on and now I think they're backwards. His knees look backwards but his toes face forward so I was so confused. I wish the pattern creator did a full video instead of the like uploaded tik tok clips.
Can you give me the pattern? Cause I'm living in Iran and I can't buy it.

I too had problems with the legs twisting in crazy directions . My solution was using invisible thread. I just twisted the leg in correct position and then tacked them in place with the thread . The correction was truly invisible.

He is so cute! I've made a couple of those frogs, and I followed the tutorial and made the i-cord around a twist tie. Are you going to make him a sweater?
Do you have a pattern for the sweater?
@@sq5 dotpebbles has a sweater pattern for him. It's very cheap- I think it was around 50 cents.

I love him so much, he is amazing! I totally want to make one now, I have some scrap yarn in the right color but it is worsted 🤔 wonder if I can make it work
I made mine from Knit Picks Wool of the Andes on size 4 needles and it turned out great, did not add mohair.

You did a great job, Ive never done anything like this so your video is very encouraging, thankyou also for the mentioning the Drops Lima, I was having difficulty in sourcing 4ply green wool in Australia, your video is very helpful, I wish Claire Garland did a better video with more detail for making little frog, the one on tik tok has white writing on a pale background, so it makes reading it almost impossible.
I agree ! But I think it's kind of a way for her to "gatekeep" her pattern so that we buy it instead of figure it out.

@@ashton5146 its not her pattern, its Claire Garlands, she has alot of other adorable knitted animals, she also did a crochet version of the frog, and has a new easier way to do the legs.

I was about to begin the (dreaded) Mattress Stitch on this Frog I started this afternoon when this video popped up in my feed. 1st of all the internet knows way too much of my shit...! (Half done by the time you were ready to sew.) Debated breathing into a paper bag ... stopped your video while procrastinated another five minutes.
Turned this back on to see how we did... lol... at the exact instant you said (we) should remove the stitch markers I remembered they were still inside. (You're way ahead of me now :))
