I'm pretty sure the KO screen with vegeta and hercule is when you use it without letting it fully charge, so goku stays as base. When the meter does fully charge, he goes super saiyan.
Thats exactly what it is. You have 2 spirit bombs depending on how many "Charges" you get 1 Charge = 1 Ki Sphere by ANY of your allies. As in all units count whilst standby is active. 38 charges or less you get the base spirit bomb 39 or more, you get the super spirit bomb. Power also changes. Base spirit bomb gets 15 ATK per charge, Super gets 20. So make sure to get 39+

I have been wanting that for a year now. Another one i want is a Goku. So, the enemy kills you, you see the faces of the gang in pure shock, but then out of nowhere Goku flys and headbutts the enemy in the gut and says it isn't over yet. Would be pure hype for me, along with the Piccolo you suggested.
I will say right now that I think these units are the only ones that look literally on par with the anime. Especially the BUU saga spirit bomb goku. While there definitely are some other good unit super attacks I’d always be able to differentiate them from the anime for one reason or another. But I kid you not at around the 2:04 mark I legitimately thought it was the anime again.
Honestly though, there are plenty of Dokkan units that look better than their source material. For example the Lr Phy Super Saiyan 4's, Lr Vegeta and Trunks, the new 8th year GT duo, and i could literally think of these from the top my head instantly, so there should be a lot more too. Edit: Also, just to clarify, i am not undermining the Buu Saga Duo's animations in any way, all i wanna say is that Dokkan being better looking than the anime isn't that uncommon.

The difference between this and per say….the vegeta/trunks units is that This is more smoother What I mean by that is Dokkan units while looking good, tend to have some sort of stiffness in their movements, wether that be when their heads or body moves. When that happens I tend to remember that this isn’t the anime but just a game for phones. Yet for some reason this duo unit for me atleast is the smoothest in the game. ESPECIALLY the active skills. They got the end of z art style down so god damn perfectly that I actually forgot for a second this is just a game.
When you do your summonings I would love to see you talk rhyme into doing an eighth year anniversary dual summon with you I'm not even sure if it's possible but it would be incredibly hype

I LOVE THEM!! These standby skills provide so much opportunities for future units. Literally any moment in the series that has a long charge up can be made into a character with a standby skill. I would so love a special beam cannon piccolo where goku has to be beat up by raditz for a bit

Because Goku dies at the end( well before Shenron revives him) . But that whole spirit bomb scene gave me some heavy goosebumps . Vegeta got pushed at the edge of the crater Goku was in , and suddenly started laughing . Omega : " You've finally snapped haven't you? I'll send you to the same grave as Goku. " Vegeta : " What the hell are you talking about , you've lost " *passes out* Followed up with Goku holding the spirit bomb and the GT Anthem . That was so awesome .

Dokkan is one of the worst gacha games to reroll on if you have an account anything more than 6 months old. You lose a massive amount of value you can't ever get onbthe the new one. That's like 2000 non static stones you just toss forever.
The standby gauge is honestly so cool. The fact that Goku "backs off" to charge while everyone else continues to fight is so cool. But if the Standby for the GT units works as in they deal no damage but take a ton of damage to utilize the revive, that's garbage
They are definitely the best looking characters in the game, I cannot wait to try them out.. In 6 months.

Buusaga sb: collect key orbs to then charge it to full power
GT sb: if you die you can deal a final attack to end the fight
You might still be able to play as the 4 ssjs after the revive though
