      Hi Hope things are well. Glad you enjoyed my wee walk in Kirkcaldy. I had never been before so I was seeing it all for the first time. The beach is great for walking on as its quite solid. I'm a fan of what Fife has to offer. The buildings are brilliant and some areas are like stepping back in time of merchants and sailors. I'll def be back. Thanks again for giving it a look. Take care sir 😊👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😁👍

    Hi Scott! Nice tour👍 Some fantastic old buildings around the town! That mist looked really eerie rolling in across the beach. Like a scene from The Fog! Watch out for those zombies mate! 😁

      Hi Des a thanks for watching. The har is actually something I quite like. It means that I feel part of the sea and the coast is so atmospheric with that rolling in. The area holds onto and accentuates its history with the plaques. The Fife coast is excellent and full of historic gems. The Fife coastal walk is something I really fancy. Hope your keeping well. Stay safe 😊👍😊👍

    Hi, Scotts Land !! Thanks for the grand tour and chat, featuring its water front as the mist drifts in, and many handsome buildings, gallery and parkland. Cheers, Don 👋

      Hi Don Hope your keeping well. The har really got a hold of the Fife coast as the day went on. I was actually very surprised at the town with its heritage and history. The parkland area with its galleries is really nice and very calm. Another nice touch was the sheer volume of free parking down by the waterfront.. It really brings people into the town.. Great place to have a look at.. Thanks for watching and look forward to your next adventure. Take care 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿📷👍😁👍

    Hi Scott you did plenty of exploring in Kirkcaldy I was there on Monday 21st but didn't do as much exploring as yourself it is a bigger town than I imagined pity there was a coastal Haar blocking the sea view but super video and fun music too .... Keep on exploring Scott Take Care 🥾🥾👍

      I love Fife for what it has to offer. So many wee coastal villages and towns that just shine. I would really like to do the Fife coastal path one day. Have you completed it? If so what are you thoughts?? Your right though it is much bigger than I expected. I liked the haar coming in as for me I felt slightly connected to the sea and mother nature added the atmosphere. I actually went back a week later to show it off to another friend of mine.. It was as if I was an auld pro and the tour guiding thing lol😂🤣 Thanks for watching as always. Look after Yourself. Stay safe sir 👍😊

    Nice stuff, Scott. I feel as if I have been properly, and with jaunty 20s/30s music :-) The bronze hemisphere was a neat thing (so still laying lino!), Another randon wander now you can? I'm hoping a Ben Lomond ascent this weekend. I hope my hayfever eases off by then! Is tha 'haar' or 'har' or even 'haer'? I suspected that was what it was but can't find a definition for it. I wonder if it's a particular Scottish word from Norwegian (?). Anyhow, take care Scott. I enjoyed my first Glasgow pint and meal out with a couple of buddies last night. Just the walk onto the platform at Central was a joy! It's all getting better! ATB,Terry

      It was sooooo great to be out on a random town wander. The car is really putting in the miles lol. I had never been to Kirkcaldy before and a place I fancied due to its industry and if I'm honest other YT vloggers being there and thought I should be part of the action lol. The music was just a little bit of upbeat fun. I bet your looking forward to the auld Ben at the weekend. That wee hill was the first munro I did (around my early 20s) with a work colleague and was the reason I got into exploring and hiking and wandering the countryside. Inspirational mountain to me to say the least. I really enjoy being on the coast and this was a great day out. I loved the har rolling in and engulfing the Fife coast. Really great to see. Glad you had a nice day out with your mates. I've been in a couple of pubs and tbh it still feels weird and mask up wherever I go. I even take a metal straw with me which just helps me a bit. Glad your good and looking forward to your north face of the eiger mountain climbing video on Ben Lomond lol Take care and look after yourself as always. Here's to the next adventure 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥾🥾👍😁

      Hi Douglas Hope all is well. Glad you enjoyed it. I had never been to Kirkcaldy before and it was great fun exploring. With regards to the music I have put the credit details in my description which you can check out.. Its electro swing. I felt like it was the sort of seaside music with a twist of new age electro fun beats lol. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy my other random Scottish places I film in. I have a premiere tomorrow night on my latest adventure at 9pm bst. Thanks again. Take care 👍😁👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      @@ScottsLandYes I will be viewing all of your videos and giving them all a like. I discovered the information after I sent a comment to your video. One question do you know if Beinglas Farm campsite floods at any time of the year. Keep producing the good videos and stay safe.

      @@douglasbates389 Hi Douglas Thank you so much for taking the time on my videos and always blown away at the amazing support I have to get out and showcase something new and exciting. With regards to your questions it's a difficult one about the flooding as tbh any campsite can flood. There is a burn that runs across a wee bridge onto the West Highland Way on one side a burn way at the bottom as you enter and you have the hills right behind the site which has a few waterfalls tearing the hillside new cracks so I suppose it could happen but I haven't heard anything of it happening. It is the great outdoors and floods can happen anywhere. I am justa massive fan of this site and of course the West Highland way. Are you thinking of taking on the Way or even camping at the site?? The place is stunning and the staff are brilliant. Really helpful. I hope this helps. Take on that adventure and enjoy it 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😉👍😁🥾🥾

    Love this place as I feel at home in coastal communities. The beach although looked cool on this day appears to be a very nice beach. The town has a ton of character, I’m a fan of the stone and brick but also a splash of colour on the store fronts. Interesting fact about Adam smith, I just assumed he was American.

    • @ScottsLand
      @ScottsLand  3 роки тому +1

      The town definitely had heritage behind it that's for sure and I love the fact it keeps its buildings and shops in keeping with how it should be and not gone brand new in places. The Fife coast is excellent and some really great places.. There is a long distance hike called the Fife Coastal Path that passes through here as well which I fancy doing at some point. Its great to see places open back up again in Scotland and business beginning to trade again. The beach is def a walking beach and not really for making sandcastles lol. Again another place I had never been to so glad I stopped off l. Hope all is well with you. Stay safe 😊👍🇨🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍😁

    My mate has a shop in KDY High St - i see his OLD shop in your clip but he has since moved further down into Merchants Quarter area...........Alot of shops in your film have since closed down for good............knock on effects after lockdown...happening allover meantime but things will change once folk get fed up paying double on the likes of amazon & ebay.

    • @ScottsLand
      @ScottsLand  7 місяців тому +1

      Glad your mates shop is in the video. Even if its the old place lol. I really enjoyed a walk around the place and finding out a bit out it. I really like Fife and has so many great area and your right it pains me and angers me the way our streets have gone. There is no get up and go in places to save these places and for councils to lower rent but alot of private companies own these empty shops and councils can't afford to buy them back. The competition is still too fierce to fight against amazon and ebay. I hope my videos bring people to these places to investigate to explore further. KDY was actually the first place I had a meal in a pub on seated service after we were allowed to move about a bit so I got away from Glasgow hit the coast and me and my mate met and caught up with each other in KDY so it brought back some nice memories. Thanks for watching and supporting my Scottish adventures. Take care 👍😃👍🥃🥃
