Cant believe you have to consider costs over your health!!! In the UK, I booked my appointment online, got a text, went to my appt, got given a lucozade (a fizzy energy drink) to make sure my blood sugar was good, had a nurse hold my hand and talk me through everything whilst the doctor inserted my Mirena, chilled with the nurse after and had ALL my questions/concerns answered and I was fine the entire day. Health is more important than income!!!
Kitty S if you sit on your ass all day and don't work. You shouldn't be given a free health care based from other people who actually do work. This is why you economy and taxes is such shit and no one wants to move there.
I got a Jaydess 4 months ago because my ginecologyst recommended that one. I could not be any happier with the iud, I have tried 3 brands of pills and the shot mesigyna, and the iud has been the best method yet. The Procedure to get it in is kinda painful, but worth it if it lasts 3 years. My ginecologyst said jaydess has showed to have less side effects than mirena, she recommended I put that one and if I like it then when I have to change it get a Mirena
Glad to see your YT Channel exist. Love the way you divided the cost to give audiences some idea which maybe better for us individually; and some ideas of brand. Maybe you covered copper iud already. Will see your vlog post.
Thank you for your comment. I have the nexplanon subcutaneous arm implant and the cramping bleeding and hormonal acne is unbearable.. they say the first year can be horrible for some but I don’t think I can last a year like this
I just had my copper IUD removed yesterday. The cramps and heavy bleeding were not worth it. Also I’ve been having horrible acne breakouts since being off of hormonal bc. I switched to the Liletta
I hated Mirena for the 6 months I had it. I had no period, was spotting every darn day, gained weight, and went crazy on it. It literally clouded my brain. Paragard is hormone free n I love it; heavier periods, though.
I used Mirena and had it removed at 6 months. I had cramps almost daily, my period last 2 to 3 weeks each month, I gain 20 pounds in 6 months, I got acné. It was the worst experience for me 😭
Actually, I got a Kyleena iud last week, and the size difference is with the tube used for placing it. It’s about 2,5 mm less wide. I was specifically asked to participate in a study to see if that really means placing is less painful.
Hey Pharmacist I just got the Kyleena after previously getting the Copper IUD (the 10 yr one which is slightly larger in dimensions/copper coverage) and I found it far far easier
So if I get the kyleena will 17.5mcg be released into my body daily or 9mcg? Or would my body be reviving 17.5mcg daily for the first year and then after that first year will it decline to 9mcg?
Hello I have a question (hope I won't sound dumb) but does the different amount of hormone affect effectivness? Like is myreena more effective as a contraceptive? I have Kyleena and I can't stop thinking about it since watching this video.
I just got my marina in last week and I feel like I can feel it inside my uterus. I know it sounds crazy, but it just feels like something is poking me inside (at times) Has this happened to anyone else?
It's normal. I've had it too the first time. Maybe it was knowing that my body was trying to get rid of it as my doctor explained to me that my body would first identify it as a foreign sort of object which would cause all the cramps I've had to endure the first months. But I had the same feeling. I think it's more of a subjective feeling though, and not per se real. For me, this feeling only lasted the first month or 2 or so.
What is the best contraceptive for someone who has a history of stroke and tilted uterus also has had a tubal ligation if it makes any difference estrogen or progesterone? I’m confused
Ah yes, it's different for everyone. Sometimes the blood can be very heavy and annoying at first as your body adjusts and then it can reach a point several months latet where you rarely get your period, or its very light.
Hey Pharmacist thanks for your response. With me before the IUD, my period was only for 5 days. Now, it lasts for 10 days. This month it was very light, light bleeding for 7 days then I thought it finished 3 days later I bleed again heavy.
Hey my name Kara I’m getting in the marina ovary cyst hair loss Weight gain They put in at Parent plan hood I had before paragard but made bleed to much now on depo shot getting the Marina August 16 2018
Thank you for talking about the size difference! Couldn't find it anywhere! Great video. Thanks for your help!
Thanks for your feedback!!

This is such a succinct and informative video! Had all the info I couldn't find after searching everywhere on the internet. Thank you!!

Hi! I have been using mesygina and I'm thinking on the IUD why you said it's better?
What made it your "aha" moment im in the process of getting it, did you see change in weight??? Cycle?? Bleeding??? Pain level??
Hey great video! I never knew about the ultrasound thing! Very informative! I liked the blooper at the end hahaha
Haha.. thanks!

I have had the copper IUD for almost 1 year, but the heavy bleeding and menstrual pain is not worth it.
This is what I was wondering how to minimize heavy periods 😑 thanks for this

What's paraguard
@@kritisingh9887 and IUD that has copper instead of using hormones
Paragard gave me copper toxicity
@@Shiro92224 yes I wouldn’t use copper . My obgyn told me to never get copper iud

Oh my thanks for your input. I have the nexplanon and it gives me the worst hormonal acne ever
Did you get on any other birth control ?
IUDS and birth control is very special. Especially in cities like Albany Ga and Tampa Florida.

Hey Pharmacist I just got the Kyleena after previously getting the Copper IUD (the 10 yr one which is slightly larger in dimensions/copper coverage) and I found it far far easier
I was curious about the size difference as well and wanted something smaller. I live in Canada so hopefully Pharmacist is available over here.
@@snarkywitchface How was your general experience with the copper iud? Not only the insertion
So if I get the kyleena will 17.5mcg be released into my body daily or 9mcg? Or would my body be reviving 17.5mcg daily for the first year and then after that first year will it decline to 9mcg?
If the Skyla drops to 5mcg after 3 years, why can Kyleena not be used longer thant 5 years?

No it doesn’t effect it. It just won’t last for longer because the amount is less
I got mirena IUD in October 2018 no period

You shouldn’t be able to feel it! You should contact your doctor to make an appointment to check on the placement of your IUD.
Oh gosh, now I’m debating on this iud thing. Hope they were able to fix it

I had kyleena removed back in 2019. Was thinking about having a child. I’ll be getting it reinserted June 13!
Great video - I needed this!
Awesome! That's great to hear, thank you!

How long does the procedure take? When is the best time to have it inserted before or after your menstrual cycle?
How does the IUD system know it's been a day? or a year? What's the internal mechanism?
What happens when you decide to take out the iud? Are you gonna be pregnant, once it out of your body?
Email us pharmacyaarya31@gmail.com for more details
Yep unless you take another form of protection
What is the best contraceptive for someone who has a history of stroke and tilted uterus also has had a tubal ligation if it makes any difference estrogen or progesterone? I’m confused
Progestin only just because of the stroke
GREAT video! Any idea why the dosages gradually decrease over time?
I have the marina almost a year now and my periods are annoying. In the past I had the cooper and I bleed a lot. I guess I have to try something else

@@imperfect13 how many months have you had it for? Sometimes it takes 6 months to regulate. But like it said, everyone is different!
Hey Pharmacist almost a year. My body just never got adjusted to IUD. I guess I am that small percentage IUD reacted differently.
@@imperfect13 sorry to hear!
Do you anything about liletta iud?
What about copper IUDs?
This video compares just the hormonal IUDs that are currently available. The copper IUD is a hormone-free contraceptive. Good idea for another video!

Great info! Thank you so much for this! ❤❤❤
Thank you for the feedback!

Heyyy can you talk about the copper IUD :)
Are all these non copper and only progesterone based ?
Progesterone based
How to you put it in there??

Zoey Martinez did Skyla give u side effects? My gyno is recommending it to me
I’ve had the skyla for 3 years now and it’s been a roller coaster.
