You're great at giving the long-term "This is better" approach, I'd love to see you take on an impossible challenge like making the League of Nations appear like the strong upper-midcard force it seemed like it should've been, or maybe see you book a storyline you'd like to see using the talent WWE currently has.
Because he has logical ideas which don't contain the heels being booked like a joke, so Vince and Kevin Dunn naturally don't see any potential in him as a writer.
Anyone else remember that one legged kid who wanted to be a wrestler and Steph gave him a contract. Then Vince got pissy and got Brock Lesnar to break his leg?
Why does everyone think Team WWE winning at Summerslam 'ruined the Nexus'?? Why? That wasn't the end of Nexus, they even beat Team WWE in a rematch the night after for f**k sake! It was a good match, with a great ending. No burial at all.
+Nerf Gamingninja Because they lost all their credibility after that match, they made clear that Wade Barret would've never won the WWE Championship.. so the Nexus would've never become a dominat force in the roster. If this isn't burial, I don't know what is
@@NerfGamingninja2638 on the contrary. Having CM Punk take over, leave, and return without them is not a good ending. Nobody knew what happened to them afterwards, they just became their own entities. Without the leader, Nexus stopped being a force to be reckoned with.
All these people Wade Barret- Recently fired but contract was going to run out in June. 5 time intercontinental champion. Kicked out of League of Nations at Wrestlemania. Daniel Bryan- Retired. Held active title (WHC, IC, USC, Tag Team) and is now one of the most popular WWE superstars in wrestling history. Justin Gabriel- Now wrestles under the name of Pj Black in the Lucha Underground. Skip Sheffield- Now a contender for the United States championship. He now wrestles under the name Ryback and is a few time Intercontinental Champion. Heath Slater- Still in WWE but an absolute JOBBER! He is the leader of the Faction the Social Outcasts and also hosts WWE game night. Darren Young- Now a contender for the tag team titles with Titus O' Niel. David Otunga- On the verge of leaving. Pre-Raw panel CM Punk- Soon to make his Debut in UFC and hates the WWE John Cena- Clear to wrestle on 30th of May. The face of the company
Rhodes wins the WrestleMania Triple Threat goes on to feud 1 VS 1 with Orton. While DiBiase becomes the Million Dollar Champion and actually has a good storyline with it (Maybe buying his win for the Intercontinental Title). Rhodes defeats Orton in their feud and becomes a main event star. Rhodes goes on to feud over the WHC Championship as he becomes more heel, Goldust talks to Rhodes "This isn't you" but Rhodes with DiBiase's goon wins the title. DiBiase and Rhodes are found of each other (Not always together but help each other from time to time). DiBiase's goon turns on him at the Royal Rumble and a match is set for WrestleMania. Rhodes loses the title at the Elimination Chamber after proving he can be a big star.
+Rohan G. Nair They actually booked Cena vs. Rock really well IMO, they just went from good booking to overstaying their welcome. When you spend a whole year booking "once in a lifetime", keep it that way.
Have Cena be a sore loser who turns heel after losing to Rock and the next night have him cut a promo on the fans saying something like "I did everything for you and I was always here but you turned your back on me for a guy who left this company 7 years ago to do movies. Well if you're gonna turn your back on me I'm gonna turn my back on you. I never believed in all that "Never give up" and "hustle, loyalty and respect" shit anyway."
If The Nexus was gonna lose have John Cena be eliminated bc of the DDT and just put over Daniel Bryan or John Morrison since this angle was about making new stars

One more part I would add: It would be later subtly revealed in a backstage segment that CM Punk was the one that pushed Barrett and the rest of Nexus to band together to change the company, but was disappointed in how it turned out in the end.
This is how he should've returned... - Sting debuts on raw - no fight between him and triple h - they point to the wm sign like how they originally did - wm 31 sting wins and the nwo DOESNT return because that was a failure - triple h gets buried for lyfe lel
Dom Fabio no the invasion could of been the best angle ever but no WWE wanted to made WCW and ECW look like a joke and jus waste money when he could of Made them look great and made much more money and maybe if Vince used his money he could of bought out Goldberg, Sting,Scott Steiner any of the Big names but he wanted to save money and it all blew up in his face and we lost a quite alot amazing wrestlers because of WWE
+TheArsenalMan125 I think I know how WWE should've booked Roman Reigns in a way that gets the WWE universe 3 big things that they want: -Roman Reigns Heel -End of The Authority -Resurrection of The Shield ...in a way that would've even made Roman Reigns not only LIKED by the WWE universe but in a way that would have gotten so pushes for others as well. Have Roman Reigns be booked as an angry destructive beast after the ending of The Shield.
Sting debuting and helping Team Cena win should have been the Authority's end. Not having them just be gone a few months until Seth Rollins threatened to paralyse or kill Edge to force Cena to bring them back.
Of course, if the Nexus had been fixed you would have ended up with Ryback still being "Skip Sheffield", Curtis Axel still being "Michael McGillicutty" and, worst of all, Bray Wyatt still being "Husky Harris". Plus it would have meant spending a lot more TV time on Heath Slater and David Otunga than we got. Plus, there is every reason to think Sheffield and Tarver still would have gone out on injuries.
sportygu123 If that were the case, you still would have run out of members before you could have done all this. Even if one were to try to get around the fact that Daniel Bryan was out on the first night (something that honestly no one could have seen coming so no booker could have altered that part), we have seen how injury-prone he is and he couldn't have lasted long. Harris and McGillicutty were brought in a last ditch effort to try to replenish Nexus' lost numbers... and also because they clearly belonged on the roster more than Kaval/Lo-Ki did.
andrew ferris Daniel wasn't that injury-prone until he won the big one at WM 30. He was kicked out of Nexus, yes, but it's not like he was on the shelf very often; he was in the US Title scene, which he still very well could've done had Nexus been fixed. And again, just following what the guy in the video said, know the boundaries on what can and what can't be shown on PG and Daniel Bryan gets around just fine. I don't see how they run out of members because Darren Young wouldn't get kicked out. There would still be 6 of them and David Otunga's the only bad wrestler amongst the 6, which can be easily fixed by minimizing his in-ring time
sportygu123 Fair enough. I suppose they simply could not have over reacted and instead kept Bryan there anyway. Tossing him was a clear overreaction even at the time. But then... ultimately, didn't Bryan benefit a lot more from it? By the time he came back, the Nexus was still around and he even fought them in their dying days which helped elevate him as a face. Slater was a good wrestler? Somehow I just never saw that, but the poor guy spent so much time as the lowest of the lowest jobbers on the card, who really knows. Otunga has the physique, he could do promos pretty well, he had a decent psychology, but... never did see a match with him where he got any meaningful offense or where he lasted more than 3 minutes. When you really boil it down, Barret, Young and Gabriel were the ones who had real potential. And... I totally forgot about Mason Ryan, but he came in even later than Wyatt and Axel. Would definitely like to see how Adam would have booked the WCW invasion angle when Shane McMahon bought out WCW and brought what stars he had to the WWF!! maybe drag it out long enough to see some of the big players from WCW come back into the fold as part of the angle.
Late to the party, but this was great. Personally, i would have had Wade win the title the very next night on raw after the survivor series match. The ratings would have been huge because of the Nexus win and i would have taken advantage of that. Randy would have entered his Locker room at the start of the show and saw Wade sitting there waiting for him. Wade would have demanded a title shot and Randy would have been like, 'lol get out of my locker room you tea drinking bastard.' Wade would have been like, 'fine' and left, but then Nexus would have gone in and wrecked Randy's shit. Then they would have dragged his broken body to the ring. Michael Cole, who had a lot of heat at the time, would then reveal that he was the anonymous gm and had been in cahoots with Nexus all along. He orders the title match, but then bars Nexus from ringside in jest. Wade would have put his boot on Randy's already trashed body for the easy win, but would have taken his boot off at two. Then he'd smile at the camera and proceed to give Randy the most viciois PG rated beatdown he could get away with. after that, everything you suggested was perfect, although, i might have given the title to another person, maybe even a Nexus defector.
That was really good! i always do this kinda stuff, the problem is, at the time, they don't see where they went wrong as a company. We, as the fans, look back and see the WW#s mistakes and see where it could've been corrected. I always look back and rebook the WCW/ECW Invasion.
Few suggestions for the next "How WWE Should have Booked", - Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins after the Shield's disbanded - Road to Wrestlemania 31 - New NXT Superstars (and/or possible scenarios involving NXT Superstars who haven't debuted on the main roster e.g. Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, etc.)
I loved it! I just have one small issue... You said Wade Barrett challenges Randy Orton to a title match at Night of Champions... But at the time, Sheamus was the WWE Champion... Sooooo... Better off keeping the 6-pack challenge with Barrett winning i guess... Just a small observation, Keep up the good work!
I forgot how epic the nexus theme was

Stuntman Pat. OTC Interesting scenario!

How WWE Should have Booked the Straight Edge Society!
That was really good! i always do this kinda stuff, the problem is, at the time, they don't see where they went wrong as a company. We, as the fans, look back and see the WW#s mistakes and see where it could've been corrected. I always look back and rebook the WCW/ECW Invasion.
Few suggestions for the next "How WWE Should have Booked",
- Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins after the Shield's disbanded
- Road to Wrestlemania 31
- New NXT Superstars (and/or possible scenarios involving NXT Superstars who haven't debuted on the main roster e.g.

I think it'd be cool if you did a how WWE should have booked The Shield break up.
