Thanks for making it like for an hour. Beacuse I see people who make video that's only 8 min or 10 min they are very fast and make videos for name same and earning through ads and I don't learn anything from that. This is what I expect. Thank you
This is awesome. I've done the other iPhone tutorial you talk about. What I love about modeling the same product is that you learn different methods from different people.
SO great, concise and clear. I have watched several other iPhone modeling tutorials, some of which are tedious and boring, and some are still Boolean methods, which are not professional enough.
I explored blender in my 2nd year of college for 3 to 4 months and then i got interest in web / app development. Your video pops up after years 😂 and idk y am i watching your videos (while traveling). May be i will give it one more try during weekends. Loving your explanation and support++
Hi Blenderer, Khalid here just wanted to thank you for all your efforts and i mean it, im still yet to finalize the Soda Course and ill check this one out as soon as i finish the soda course, keep up the good work champ
Great tutorial, but I have something to point out: iphones' corners has a squircle shape which is not properly a rounded square but they are a particular function which is halfway to a square and a cirlcle. Using a circle or bevel vertices of a rectangle is not really the same.
As a beginner that complete the donut tutorial I think it will be much easier for beginners if you say "Scale" instead of "S" etc. Also, I think this video should be split to 10 videos FOR beginners. It's very nice to hear you and the instructions, but for REAL beginners it's very hard to follow , even if i will slow the playback. If you did this in the famous donut tutorial style, it would be perfect. but i can understand if that's too much work. so no complains here. You are pro and you know what you are doing and voice is good to teach. thanks.
Thanks for the feedback my man. Maybe you'll like the first free course. It's a bit easier and more beginner oriented. (The product animation masterclass, with the can) Thanks mate❤️
Damn I thought the modeling would be of 20 to 30 minutes long but it surely is detailed as hell for one and half hour and I know I am gonna learn some new advanced modeling techniques on this.
Mirror modifier works based on the origin point, while this method is more flexible with the usage of the 3D cursor. In this case a mirror could've worked out for making the base, but oftentimes the negative scaling method is faster and works in multiple situations
Yes it's basically a 2D image being wrapped around a 3D object. UV is basically just X and Y axis. Watch my Can texturing tutorial. It's part 2 of the product animation masterclass (the first free course). I'll explain it better there
I tried to make it as mathematically accurate as possible. If you need any help, you can ask questions here or in the discordserver: discord.gg/7gFpSXbscQ

True, I've followed other ones as well to see what methods are common.👑

Great to hear you liked it. My promise in the beginning of the video stands👑

That's some in depth knowledge about iPhone you got there. Interesting stuff, I'll look into it some more🙌🏻
@@theblenderender yeah, I also tried making an iphone model in blender in the past and I thought it was easier than it was😅
Will there be a render tutorial for this phone?
Yes there will be

I only do product animation now. But if you have any questions I'm willing to answer them :)
but what about texturing
It will be the next upload💪🏻
I just watced it. It looks like exact problem solver. Thank you very much!
people only make this model as timelapse but hats off to your hard work , you made it for 1 hour and explained every little detail about the product

It's a big one, but very detailed. Good luck with this mate👑
Is there a reason you didn't make use of the mirror modifier? This avoids this "Shift-d s x -1, merge by distance"-thing ;-)

Completely amazing class! Thank you
Thank you🙌🏻
Bro could explain UV editing I am a beginner

Blender can be so frustrating. Follow the exact instructions, and my model comes out slightly different with topology that is not the same as yours.

Keep uploading man your videos are gold
Thank you so much. I definitely will❤
