If you are looking to install a pool, we will cover access, and how much space you will need to get an excavator into your backyard. In the pool industry, we would recommend have 8-10 ft, between your home, and your neighbor's home. In most cases, an access letter is needed for a pool company to use the customers neighbor's yard for access, while constructing a pool. Small machines and micro digs are available, if you have less access, for an additional cost.
We would advise that there will be set backs and that may vary, depending on which county/city you are located in. There are times where homeowners with a zero lot line property are looking to build a pool and that is when the home is built on the property line, these are typically built with narrow homes, such as town homes. We would recommend consulting with a pool builder first before taking the plunge.
