The game looks downright good. Love the city, graphics look amazing. But as others have said the combat does look generic and since I recently got into ToF and fell in love with the ability to equip any weapon on any character, I'm a bit disappointed to see the conventional team mechanic instead in NTE. I was so hoping they would go the simulacra route instead, as that (to me) is what sets ToF apart the most from the other games it's compared to constantly. Either way I'm really excited for NTE.
Exploration in this game with Nanally(red cat girl) is going to be super fun. I hope they do make a character that can litetally fly as a nod to GTA's jet pack lmao
This game has a similar vibe to ZZZ as far as cities are concerned. Since ZZZ decided to kill the only thing separating them from other games (TV mode), maybe Hotta can make a good alternative to that game here, with a similar vibe. It even has open world driving and supernatural stuff.
Better than that boring persona arena slasher. Literally can play Senran Kagura, DMC or smth , read comics, play Persona, and watch cartoons separately instead of doing it in zzz with greedy gacha, and cheap shit to kill your time like TV. This game has more effort even being ToF disguised as GTA😂
NTE has four chara parties? I don't think I really like that in an action RPG. You can see in say, Genshin, how having that extra party member really limits the potentially creativity of kit designs since a party rotation is so time limited. Wuwa, PGR, Honkai, ZZZ, all can put more effort into an individual character since you have much more time on field even for characters that aren't main DPS because they're limited to 3 characters.
I have high hopes for the project, the artistic style is superb! But the combat seems very generic, and from what I've heard we are not getting proper open world either.
Ill still say that idd prefer some more sexy looking characters like in tof but gameplay dose look sick. One thing tho that it seems u cant use just 1 character with 3 weapons like you could in tof witch i dislike. I want the freedom to use the character i want with any weapon..

As ToF player, our ui already change like 3 or 4 time so Hotta probably will do that too in NTE, they might change the ui in the future even if it need few patches

Agree with you on the generic part. Not seeing anything that sets it apart yet.
It has more ZZZ-feel elements added this time. I just hope it isn't as easy as ZZZ where difficulty scaling is always about bigger hp and damage
