I actually get asked this a lot. In this case to identify your number you would first refer to the "quantity or amount" of shapes on top of the players head and NOT an actual "arithmetical value, expressed by a symbol, such as 1,2,3,4". So you would have to count the number of "shapes" on top of the players head. For example, if you counted four purple pyramids on top of your head then you will be considered "arithmetical value number 4" and if you counted two purple pyramids on top of your partner's head they would be considered "arithmetical value number 2". Now that you've assigned the amount of shapes into arithmetical values, #4 is greater than #2 so #4 is the bigger number. (The mechanic will always play out in a way where 2 & 4 and 1 & 3 will always be partners so #3 and #4 are ALWAYS the bigger number and #1 and #2 are ALWAYS the smaller number) Hope this helps!

If you are confused on even odds and colors, it's a lot easier once you know if you hit the guy you get blue and hitting girl gives you pink. After that all you have to do is if the bosses needed to be away the odds swap sides and if bosses needed to be close then evens and odds need to be on 2 different sides. The rest of it is self explanatory. This really confused our FC on this guide where they only mention the color mechanic in text so we missed it.

Oh Sure sounds fun! like a 4 player guide? Usually only the final tier of the savage raids have a "hard kill" mechanic that you can't by pass with pure DPS the lower ones can usually be steam rolled with a full party but I'll give them a shot nonetheless thanks for watching :D

I can't say for sure - I'll make an updated guide in 6.0 - my guess is It'll probably be around the same for phase 1 maybe a minute or 2 less since the mechanics are locked behind % you still have to do fundamental synergy - you'll skip most if not all of the Operational Synergy mech though
One thing to note for Fundamental Synergy: If you have PURPLE TRIANGLES odd number you should move to the opposite side of omega F, and BLUE CUBES odd numbers move to the opposite side of omega M. It is because each boss will dash to their respective color, PURPLE = F, BLUE = M. This is fairly obvious but I noticed that it is rarely mentioned in PUG because everyone assumed u already understand that when u actually had no idea, and it is the reason why the fight becomes a wipe festival. Because instead of moving away from the F boss when u have 1 purple triangle, you instead move towards the F boss because you're currently facing the M boss and that is the mistake that is commonly found here.
I'm starting to hate Stormblood content, the mechanics are such bullshit. I just started mount farming EW mounts and Zodiark extreme was easier than this raid.
