Yordan Martinov Theres so much music out there. I sold a mixer to a guy on a yard sell outside my house last weekend. It said 200sek (€20) and after me demonstrating it he said do you want records instead of money? Later that day I was in his flat. He is a hoarder and there was crates of techno in all of the living room. The amount of crates was nothing special per se (30?) but the thing was it was ONLY carefully curated minimal, electro, soundscape, progressive and psy. We worked out some records and some of them are complete killers. He had like me once been a rocker so Led Zeppelin was there too like in my crates. He was careful too. Told me the best shit can be on the b sides so we choosed my records carefully and he let most of them go that I found.

In 2017, zo'n 8 jaar later komt Fisher aanzetten met gruwelijke tracks, beats en mixen. Nu ik Confronted van Pan-Pot aan hoor, blijkt hij dus de grondlegger te zijn van deze wreede beats die duidelijk herkenbaar zijn als je de tracks van Fisher luisterd, zijn werk van de periode 2017 tot 2020. Zowiezo mijn respect voor Pan-Pot die met dit meesterlijke album die geniale beats, mix heeft uitgebracht! Weliswaar heeft Fisher die beats inmiddels verder door en af ge(re)mixt en uiteindelijk met een eigen draai eraan ook fantastische mixen gemaakt.
