  • Years ago Rowe Palmer dragged his right leg across the finish line of his first marathon with orthotics in his conventional shoes. A few months ago he and his wife finished a six-month trail running vacation, running 6 days a week in minimalist shoes, with some barefoot running and walking as well.

    Have you tried transitioning out of orthotics, or into minimalist shoes or barefoot running? How did it go?

    I am using Hykes Pinnacle and love them, I will never go back to regular shoes.

    Really interesting - I have "Hip Impingement" and have been recommended to use orthodics. What are your thoughts with someone with FAI (CAM) and orthodics for running?
