A guide/gazetteer of Lovecraft country would be an incredible addition to the game. I’ve been using old road maps from the 1920’s for my group, but they fall short for many reasons.
I look forward to this campaign. I ran it in my local game store a number of years ago as a VERY new Keeper in the Cult of Chaos. Now, with a few more years of experience under my belt, and the input from Mike and Lynn, I expect a second crack at it to be spectacular. The original story was great, I was not...
Great update. This is not a criticism...just an observation from an American. Is Mike's pronunciation of Vermont (VER-MINT) typical for Brits? In the US a vast majority pronounce it VER-MOHNT.
I'm British and I've personally not heard anyone I know saying it other than ver-MONT. However I personally try to say places in the US as they're said by locals, rather than try and Englishify them, similarly for anywhere else in the world.
Player side books! What a great idea. I could totally see a series of Travel guides, and catalogues done in the 1920's era styling.

New England is the Call of Cthulhu setting par excellence! Bravo!
These were great news! Hope the PDF for A Time to Harvest comes out soon!

Glad to hear you're looking forward to it, and coming at it as a veteran Keeper no less.

No, I'm British and it surprised me too. I've never heard it pronounced the way Mike does.
I picked up on the same thing and checked the comments, Mike's way of saying it felt a bit jarring.
sounds more like VER-MERNT to me but Vermint would make a great name for a hamlet or village plagued by rats and other vermin
Can’t wait for the Hardcover!!!
Really good stuff.
Won't be buying this since I already ran it, but it was a great campaign.
