I used to cram an entire semester of 4k level classes and take the finals in the span of 3 days with no sleep… 3 times, shredding through energy drinks, adderall, weed, and nicotine. Every time by the end felt like a near death experience. Seeing shadows at the edge of my vision, hearing coyotes fighting during the night, mouth infinitely dry, barely hungry or even able to eat, feeling your heart beating, random muscles start spasming. I’d stay up 50 hours again for any other reason but I’d never do college again. Also this is an amazingly high quality video. You are truly a natural with the editing and pacing.
my insomnia means on average i’m awake 24-30 hours and 50 hours is normal during a bad period. my record is during my psychotic break, 5-6 days. it’s awful, and really impressive to not pass out before 50 hours if ur not used to it at all. i’m used to it and i can hallucinate and totally lose my sense of balance at that point.
Expected to see 1 - 10 million subscribers but saw 12k instead. This is great quality content for such a small UA-camr, you will definitely be going places.
I went on a Mediterranean cruise last summer and the day I flew to Barcelona, I was up for over 30 hrs because I couldnt sleep on the plane. I heard to help beat jet lag, you should go to bed at a somewhat decent time when you get to your destination. I had to wait in the lobby of the hotel for about 5 hrs for my room to be ready (my plane landed around 9 and check in wasnt until later that afternoon). I was fighting to stay awake. I ended up taking a cat nap when I got to the room, and forced myself to wake up within 20 min so I didnt screw up my sleep schedule. I made it until 8pm and I crashed hard. The next morning and for the rest of the trip, I was adjusted so that tip worked 😂 I was looking back at videos I took from that first day and I was slurring my words so bad just from straight deliurium 😂😂
This is definitely the type of content you’d expect from a UA-camr with like 1mil or even higher , and you have 25k and are producing this great quality content , I know you are gonna make it big ❤
I know a guy who drove 40 hours straight (stopping only for gas) on a cross-country road trip. He stayed awake for more than 60 hours straight. His name is JM Rock, author of DeathBySocialism.
I'm shocked with the number of subscribers you have, I thought it's a 100k+ sub content creator. Such a good contents you have, I already watched 4 of your videos and definitely will watch more. Keep it up! 💪🏻💖💖
longest I've been awake without sleep is roughly 30-34 hours or so. this being said, I've pulled more all nighters than I want to admit, even to myself. Back when I was younger, around 13-14, I could do it with few issues. Now I'm almost 19 and the thought of it makes me literally feel sick, it's excruciating.
I regularly stay up for 16 hours, the longest I did was around 36 hours, I was fine the first 30 hours, but then when I actually tried to sleep I kept crying uncontrollably cause I felt anxious 😂, the reason I stayed up was because my eye got scratched and I couldn’t close it without it being EXTREMELY painful, so I decided to stay up😅(I finally got to sleep after calming down😂)
The longest I stayed awake during insomnia was three days, which ultimately was around 50 hours. I did started to see shadows at the corner of my eye, like someone was there but when I looked at it there was no one.
I have insomnia and struggle to remember the last time I've actually felt tired. What happens is I normally go a couple days without sleep and then I will basically pass out after laying in my bed for a while and wake up over and over during the night and not feel well rested at all, very much a pain to deal with 😭 Its nice to see someone experimenting with something I go through while having such a positive and up beat personality!
I slept 6 hours one time in 8 days. I think the longest consecutive streak was about 45 hours in that time without sleep. It was a horror show I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy.
I used to have SEVERE SEVERE insomnia. For years I slept maybe 2 hours max per night, so regularly got to the hallucination stage. It's nothing like LSD or mushrooms. White noise sounded like people. I would see shadows dart by. And then eventually start hallucinating with my eyes open. I often had blown conversations with family members, only to realize I was alone. It was similar to dreaming while awake.
@@MoreToGaming I averaged 0-2 hours each night. After a week or two I'd start hearing things, then seeing shadows, before progressing to hallucinations and half-dreaming with my eyes open. Because sleeping pills wouldn't work on me, my parents would take me to the hospital so I could receive very high doses of sedatives and sleep while being monitored. After 10-12 hours of sleep, it would reset the hallucinations and I'd go home. Then the cycle would start all over again. Kids at my school thought I had schizophrenia and I missed out on a lot of milestones. Sucked!
@@emmadupuy4526 Yeah I actually have a normal life now thank you! The trade off is I'm physically dependent on a certain med for off-label use... So have to take it every night or go through withdrawaI. By young adulthood I had been prescribed every sleeping med and benzo on the market with only minimal help at ridiculous doses. I couldn't work or attend college or anything. Then I got in a car accident that broke some bones, so was prescribed an opioid. I took one and slept over 6 hours that night, waking up only once. It was like it fixed something in my brain. I traveled to see a Johns Hopkins sleep expert for sleep studies, EEGs, FMRIs, etc and they were 100% on board with prescribing it. So I've been on that same medication and dose for over a decade. Became an EMT to try to help others now =)

I’m watching this tired, feeding my baby at 1 in the morning. Kudos to you for doing this because it is not easy to lose sleep! Let alone 30 hours worth.
Subbed! Loved this video and your content! More like this please! Idk how to explain it, cozy maybe? lol. I suffer from revenge bedtime procrastination… it’s real lol. Growing up, in high school me and all my friends would take turns staying over at each other houses, we’d stay up late sometimes till 5-6am, play video games, cook food. Those are some of my best memories. Now that I’m older and we’ve all kinda got our own lives to live, I get in moods where I really wanna stay up late, have a snack, play some games to bring that feeling back except now it’s by myself unfortunately. It’s not the same but it’s something atleast. This video/challenge brought me back to that.
I went 3 months straight with no sleep a couple of years ago. When i say no sleep, I literally mean 0 hours. I wanted to commit S over it because it was torture. Eventually got my sleep back. Was a miracle. Theres no other way to explain it really. The last straw was calling my Dr and I told him the Trazadone wasnt working. His genius solution was to "up the dosage." I said man hell no and pretty much hung up on him. Fun fact, one of the side affects of trazaonde is su--dal thoughts. Medicine like that is bad news and to think those aren't as severe as ssris (depression med, which was almost considered for me, almost got to the point of being diagnosed with clinical depression) I went through major life changes a couple of years which triggered everything. Youd be suprised how quick your mind can shut down and have situational depression to the point you dont want to move. Moral of the story is , sleep is extremely important. Dont not sleep.
You are not supposed to be alive after 90 days without sleep. Actually, you'd probably die long before that, or have some sort of brain damage at least. Because of toxins acumulating in the brain, which it can't get rid of
going for a run at 2am while its raining by the forest and THEN taking an ICE BATH in the morning is INSANE I have no idea how you forced yourself to do this, I want a cozy nap just thinking about it
the way you did the night parts in a pretty dark room 😅 i’m a flight attendant and one of the things we do to not feel tired (due to jet lag) is not be in a dark(ish) room so your mind won’t think it’s nighttime so it won’t make sleepy juice in your head (i can’t be asked to use formal names) anyway if you ever want to do more, reply to me i can give you more tips 😂
I think the longest Ive gone without sleep is about 25-26 hours. Its a solo coach and ferry journey with lots of changes, that Ive done several times. I try not to drink too much to avoid having to user the coach loo. I think age affects it as its got harder over time. The last time by the time I got on the ferry the pattern on the table was moving and I felt completely off my face.
Man hallucination is the worst, once I had to drive like 16-18 hrs without stopping and by the end at 3-4 AM I started to see fucking road maintenance and trucks that disappear once I shake my head. Was a crazy night lol.
