Man, I wish they were still pop punk! Their newer stuff is good, dom't get me wrong, but it doesn't have the same intensity that they had on What Are You so Scared of? and The Other Side.

Chris Carson if you want to play it in standard tuning use the chord from F#/D#m (F#, Bb, C#, D#m and maybe A#m and G#m) for the intro try the D#m scale (d#, e#. f#, a#, b, c#). if you want to play it like Whak plays it in the video, tune your guitar down to drop C (low to high: C, G, C, F, A, D) and use the chords from E/C#m (E, A, B, C#m, F#m and G#m) for the intro use the C#m scale ( e, f#, g#, a, b, c#, d#). You can figure out what chords to play by watching the video
Alright, stop comparing Tonight Alive to Paramore. The only similarity is that they're both female vocalists. Paramore sucks ass, they're all sellouts and Haley can't even sing. Tonight Alive has so much passion and they're just amazing people and Jenna actually has a perfect voice. Comparing Tonight Alive to Paramore is insulting, not to Paramore, but to Tonight Alive because they're sooooo much better.
Actually, I think that you should have stopped at telling people to stop comparing the two bands. Especially because Hayley Williams can sing. She has one of the best vocal ranges in the industry--ranging from E3 to A6. You're calling Paramore, as a band, sellouts based on the fact that Hayley did featured vocals on chart topping songs, I am assuming. So, if Tonight Alive becomes famous for having a number one song, would that make them sellouts as well? It isn't an insult to compare two bands that way. Maybe people meant it as a compliment because they mean Tonight Alive is going places--like Paramore. You're the insulting one. How rude of you to say such harsh words about a band that has been through so much the past couple of years, and happens to write great enough music to be able to sell out venues. In fact, Paramore finally played in Madison Square Garden recently. Not sure if you're aware, but that is a huge accomplishment as a band. So, here's a lesson for you--keep it short and concise next time you are asking people to not compare two bands. Or, two "things," for that matter. She was actually originally going to be signed as a pop singer at age 13 because PROFESSIONALS saw that she had an amazing voice 2. Her range is amazing 3. It's measured in style, creativity, and in this case, how they make music, which would mean (seeing all the praise they get from people who actually know what they're talking about) they're pretty talented. Amanda Mellott Yes Hayley has an amazing voice, but she ruined her belting notes by straining herself. She is an amazing person but she can't hit the high notes like Jenna. Tbh, Paramore aren't even alternative anymore, they're pop pretty much, so the industry basically got what they wanted, but with Hayley in a band. Don't get me wrong, I love Paramore, I just can't help but feel that they got famous mainly because of Hayley's looks and the fact that she did a few songs with a few mainstream artists.
