They never brought it over to America which is probably why jewel pets isn't in animal crossing already despite two Sanrio collabs so far.
I am cool on hello kitty but I HATE that Sanrio only ever brings it's top five to America (Hello Kitty herself, My Melody, Badtz Maru, PomPomPurin and Chococat. Even Kuromi often gets left behind if she's not included with the MyMelody merch.)
