@@lolchesca7824 i had the misfortune of having to go there for a day. I can genuinely say it's the most depressing place i have ever been. Just a dead, horrible hole and i really feel sorry foe anyone who is forced to live there. Must be like a slow death.

I live in back barrow near Ulverston barrows not miles away but great for shopping Welney lovely veiws agros the sea people must see this tranquil place good stuff its still the lakes really.

I moved here some 30 years ago, I think it is a brilliant town, steeped in industrial history, with the landscape uplands of the lake district starting to ascend just 1 mile out at Thwaite Flat and increasing in topographic altitude all the way Northwards and North Eastwards for as far as you wish to venture for the day. Both my parents came from Barrow In Furness , they had nothing good to say about it, my dad worked at a shipyard called Vickers. I live in barrow. It's boring. John woodcock resigned and there's lots to do it your a tourist but include been living there all your life and your poor it's tucking boring. There's litter everywhere. There's gangs around, all the kids are disrespectful, all staff in shops are horrible. Please don't go. 😐

A place is what you make it. I lived there 72 yrs ago. It was a wonderful place. Friendly and clean because we kept it that way. Think of that marvellous park! It was always full and NOT drugs and druggies. So you see fab Barrow
