Techniques with just a few tools to paint this abstract acrylic painting.
I have papered the 50 x 50 canvas here with pieces of collage, so to speak. These are scraps of paper and pieces from newspapers with headings and colorful pictures from newspapers. I brought my own colorful papers, which I always collect for something like this, onto the canvas. Then I let the whole thing dry briefly, I filled it with pink/pink tones and I made sure that a bit of the writing still showed through. I then prepared my gold fragments on packaging foil. I always do this with foil because then the effects are more beautiful and the gold is a little shinier than if you applied it with a spatula or a brush. That's why I do the step over the foil, then I used a printer to print out the words "love" in relatively large letters, I cut out the letters and placed them on the canvas as a cover, so to speak. Then I put red over it, different shades of red. Then I used a few effects to connect the two surfaces at the top and bottom, sprinkled black effects on them and created the cool dark edge. And I'll explain to you how it all works in the following video. Have fun watching.

Warum jetzt nur auf die feuchte Farbe ohne Binder? Vorher bei deinen Bildern war der Untergrund trocken und dann mit Binder die Folie aufgeklebt ??? liebe Grüsse Gundi
Dankeschön für Deine Nachricht. Wenn die Farbe des Untergrundes noch feucht genug ist weil, an der Untergrund-Fläche zügig gearbeitet wurde, kann man ohne den Binder arbeiten, denn dann klebt die Folie auf der feuchten Farbe. Sind aber Stellen des Untergrundes schon angetrocknet weil man sich gerne mehr Zeit lassen möchte, ist es für das Ergebnis sicherer Binder dazwischen zu benutzen. Ich hoffe die Info hilft Dir weiter LG
