I'm crazy about your videos! You have the most original ideas and so many of them! All of them useful. It's almost inconceivable. My boyfriend saw me watching your videos and now he's all pumped to declutter and downsize with me! Thank you for changing our lives. Truly. We struggle to keep our home clean and simple and you have inspired us to keep going and trying.

I never would have thought of those bump on things! My husband shuts the drawers really hard, and I have to constantly move things back into place. Thank you for the great tips!

Beautiful kitchen. I use a old parmesan containers for my baking soda. One in laundry room and one in cleaning caddy.

I use parmesan containers also. I like them, as a leak would cause the original Ajax cardboard container to get soggy. Saw a plumber using them for small parts and have used them in my home.

Love the OXO Pops. The square design makes everything look so neat and orderly, and you can see what you have. I keep all my dried beans, quinoa, amaranth, and other healthy grains in them. I don't like to spend money to "organize", but the OXO Pops are a good deal. I keep all my recipes on my smartphone. If I see anything online I e-mail it to myself and save it in a Recipe folder to retrieve from my smartphone when I'm preparing a meal. Paperwork was my last clutter mountant to scale and it was the smartphone and the cloud that changed my way of looking at the problem.

I dropped all cabinet doors and switched to drawers (a row of wall shelves lifts with Blum). This was the biggest change and prevents duplicate buying / things getting stuck in the back / items going bad. Dropped all hardware and several ucut back on knives, pots, pans, plates, etc ).

Using the bumpers to keep things from sliding is brilliant! I recently purchased 2 sizes as we added cabinets to our kitchen and I am using them as the drawer/cabinet door bumpers. Again, brilliant use! The custom ones through specialty stores are so expensive, and the bumpers only cost pennies each.

They instil such a calmness in me while I'm watching them; you make me aspire to keep paring down the unnecessary things in my life. You inspired me to rethink what is necessary in my kitchen. I love to bake, but I think I may have more ideals than I do reality. I have cake stuff, but I really don't do cakes. Or pies. I bake bread, cookies, muffins and cupcakes. So, I am going to share some of my things with folks who will use them happily. Something I should just buy is a new scratch free flipper for eggs, etc. Ours gets a lot of use and sometimes I want to use it and someone has it in the d/w. I don't see going as minimal as you, not yet, but I've been working at it and getting my heart and upbringing out of the decision and bringing in a dose of real is a good thing. Though cupcakes are definitely part of the heart. . . sharing is caring and all that:) It's something I make that others like to eat. Probably don't need 12 breadpans though. Really. Jeez. What was I thinking?

Love your video! I use a mason jar to store my baking soda and I saved a lid from a parmesan cheese container (like the Kraft brand) and it fits on top of the narrow mouth mason jars. Then you can open either side of the lid for large opening or just the holes to shake out the baking soda.

I am always excited to see your videos your content is on point I love your seamless minimalism it's refreshing I don't see this very often I wish more people were like you I just love it. It was so funny because tonight I pushed in my silverware drawer and I can hear my silverware moving around and I was like I wish there was something I can put behind it so stop moving around I watched your video about two hours later it was so funny when you started talking about those clear nubs. Haha I guess God answered my prayers on that one.

Love how easy but functional your kitchen is especially if you cook a lot it makes sense to have clear counters and only things you need😄I get rid of any thing that comes in box or cardboard pkg it takes up space and a exterminator told me never keep cardboard pkg or things that have sticky backing like contact paper it attracts bugs and especially roaches!! That made up my mind

+Brittney Cloyd Thanks, Brittney! I used to use a lazy Susan to keep oils/vinegars. I have since pared down my oils and vinegars to one, but if I had more than that, I'd still use that system because it made sauces easy to access by the stove :)

devra cooper you can CHANGE the speed of any video by clicking the 3 horizontal dots on the top right corner. When that opens look for playback speed and make her talk faster or slower. For me Melody is just right. Once in a great while she talks fast but 98% of the time she is soothing. I use the speed up for people who talk way too slowly and wander off topic. Melody doesn’t. I don’t like videos where the person talks to their pets, except Melody. She can talk to and about Pat all she wants. I love 💕 her relationship with Pat.
