- Hello and welcome to Alaatin61! UA-cam's collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and in depth look at the all New 201 Volkswagen Passat. This version has 150 HP.
Mate keep your delivery style the way it was earlier... I think you did an excellent job. Unlike most reviewers who just go on yapping you did not talk much at all and concentrated on the showing the actual car. You also gave to the point information in a nice and quiet manner, which was great.
I think your camera is very good and recordings(visual and audio) are great.

I hope we get this Passat in the United States Next Year. I ABSOLUTELY LOOOVE it. !!! It is Stunningly Beautiful ...Its an Audi Passat ALL the way. WOW... this thing can compete with the best of the best German sedans on looks and every other aspect as well. I love the current Passat in the U.S.- I Love the current cars huge scale with such subtle beauty. If one examine the current U. S Passat it is surely beautiful car in all its detailing and creases ....timeless design...but this new one..WOW. !! Forget the Audi ladies and Gents. Get your Audi here...a lot cheaper priced too.
I am totally agree with you on that one. I owned cars from japan, states, italia and germany and hands down the german cars are very high quality build and designed.

+Alaatin61 VW just opened a manufacturing plant for the Passat here in the US. (Tennessee) Our version has been cheapened a great deal. The one sold in your country is a lot nicer. The CC is sold here also. Although it is very nice, it's not as spacious.
Wow much nicer than the one we get in the US.
People in the Netherlands are going crazy about it.

I'm ready to buy a new car and want this Passat here in the U.S. I really liked my 2002 and 2007 models, but I don't really like the current model. As soon (hopefully) as this is available in the U.S. I'm buying it.

Our versions in the US are manufactured here, and don't even come close to this one. In Europe this is an executive class vehicle. Ours is a cheesy cheapened version.
I just want know if they are going to offer 4motion in the United States...

+toneraynger yes of course if you pay more you can get memory seats and massage seats
+toneraynger these features are available since 2008 on a passat
+Alaatin61 thanks, ah typical of VW, my 2003 607 had memory seats as standard and connected to the wing mirror position. In this day and age memory seats should be standard if they are giving you electric seats what's the point if no memory.
Can you do the estate/variant of the VW passat? With the active display and power tailgate ps sunroof?

so this is a highline with xenon headlights? or does this have the LED option? the configurator does not show LED daytime running lights or a chrome trim on highlines... only when you have the full LED option
Mythix2 The passat is also available with Full LED headlights.
Alaatin61 I know, it's in my comment, that was not the question... but in the mean time I found out xenons are not available on this model, and the highline does NOT come with LED dispite what many sites claim.. it's an extra option on all trim levels.

Very nice car, but the seats are straight out of a 2005 sport version
So they give you a gadget that makes reversing with a trailer - I don't have and will never buy - easier, but everytime I try to squeeze myself into the Passat after my missus has been driving it with the seat wedged under the steering wheel, apart from the discomfort I need to waste precious time waiting on the electric seat motors when a manual seat adjustment would be far quicker. All because VW cuts corners, if you're going to give electric seats VW don't do it half assed.
Apart from that thanks for the review. I think the interior is dull apart from the ventilation grille. Cheap looking plastic glove box, no audi style raised centre console, dash looks like a passat from 10 years ago. exterior nice but I prefer the interior and exterior of the Renault Talisman, beautiful.
Completely different from the U.S. Version. Looks more like the VW CC.

BorisG491 I dont now buddy, but this is the 8th generation passat, it was released that day when I filmed it. Maybe it will come to te VS soon.
Cars are cheaper here. If VW sold the EU version here in they would have to increase the price drastically. If they didn't they'd loose money and ppl in the EU would start buying cars in the US and ship them to the EU again (believe it or not you can save thousands).

Yes. The 2.0 L TDI (tuned differently for different vehicles of different companies, models and variants) is the most widely used engine in the world.
Using car is horrible in Turkey because fuel is too expensive. We use the most expensive petrol of the world. Additions increase day to day. So there is no many alternatives. Many of the people prefer 1.4 or 1.6 TDI motors. TSI needs more fuel and money...

The interior is the same since 2005. The back is the same as the previous model.
