I love this build, is there any machine you can't DIY, I also love the fact you only use simple tools or machines and jigs you have made yourself, you are a truly ingenious man, I will be building this, but with a twist, I have an old mitre saw head whose mounting had broken, I kept the saw because I don't like to throw out something I could repair or repurpose, this is perfect for my needs, I will send you some pictures and details when it's done in case my modifications can help someone else
That's a bloody fantastic job U made of that saw bro.. Respect to all u guys who build using mostly wood. It shows u know what ur doing so big up to the chippie in this video.. Salute from Ireland my bro.. Keep the great work coming on here.. Its inspiring a lotta ppl..

The details of this saw are numerous, precise and complex. It is not impossible to imitate them, but you need many specialized tools. Do not understand my words wrong. Your work is a summit in creativity. But this work is very difficult for your followers
This is by far the most brilliant piece of engineering I have seen when it comes to making your own tools. Well done. I'm guessing that the price of a regular sliding compound miter saw in your location (country) is more than you're willing to pay for one.
