I can confirm that writing python modules in rust using pyO3 is a great experience, they should deprecate all advanced functionality in python - it should return to being a scripting language IMO
Idk if I agree with the notion that Python should be nerfed. The extensive capability is part of what makes Python a great language for learning things.

Python still dominates a lot of fields and tools. So having both working together is always a plus.
