You know what drives my OCD crazy? The fact that most fishing games don't actually show you reeling the fish out of the water. The fish is in the water, the screen goes black for a moment, then poof! fish in your hand. SMH.
To be honest. Russian Fishing 4 has something like that. With you pull the fish out of the water.. it's the only fishing game I really cover the most of.
17:39 - Water detail of both games.. To me, the water graphics is many time better on FSW vs Bassmasters.. Look at it and this is just to high.. and if you see FSW. that's on medium cause I can't put on medium some reason but still better graphics for the water in FSW with MHO..
I definitely prefer fsw over Bassmaster fishing. The reason is due to the former being more accessible. There is a direct tutorial on where to find bass while in Bassmaster there is no such tutorial. I really dont know what the devs were thinking. I bought the game, played for 1 day and then deleted it from my ps5. Huge waste of money.
Never been able to get your money back yet? Usually before 2hrs you can request games you don't like. Thankfully I was able to try this game when it was in beta testing with the DEVS.. They said things about it and never kept there word about it. Dunno why I even though they were going to do a good deed here. To me they only got the Endorsement to drive sales knowing that players will buy into the game with the word Bassmaster in the title then they turned around and use the name just to make revenue from it.. Never as about use for this this game. FSW where everything had Potential. The catch or what you call it. Another let down of a game. After that game. They completely abandoned FSW.. Tell you this though. Don't think I will buy another Dovetail games for this reason.. Promised in there livestream Q&A that more was to come for FSW.. even ocean fishing.. Never got that far.. They seen dollar signs and took advantage of the name Bassmasters.. They even told us that they were planning to do a yearly season of bassmaster games.. Where did that promise go? To be honest I think that Bassmaster decided to say.. No we not supporting you with a new title. You fell short on this one.. Sadly.. Loved FSW Pro Tour.. though not the DEVs themselves..
@@DaveTormala for bass fishing what's your favorite map ? Mine is lake boulder, Arnold, Guntersville, Jordan (DLC), Miller, Williams (DLC). For me the worst Bass lakes in the game are: Lake Seminole (DLC), Dylan (DLC), and Johnson and Travis. I don't know why the devs made the bite rate so low. Did you face similar problems ?
@@miqdadmahmood9873 I think it was Lake Boulder cause there is this patch of lilies with bib bass.. Not to mention big pikes too. Can see them swimming all over the area. Throwing the money maker out there always caught them fish.

They run on the same engine?
Fishing sim world and bass masters both use unreal engine if that's what your asking.
