There were games released to the Brazilian Mega Drive after Duke Nukem 3D. Show do Milhão 2, for example, was released in 2002. It is an official release, with cartridge and all (before Tec Toy moved on to strictly digital releases in their later mega drive revisions).
1995 was the last year the NES had any games released. Five years later, the Playstation 2 comes out. The jump in tech in such a small time frame is just so crazy.

On Black Matrix, you need to select the first option in the menu that is "move", define where you want your character to be, then select the action, it's mostly like FF Tactics. Personally, I think Shining Force games are better, the command "move" is not necessary, basically you'll always want to move your char 99% of the time anyways, if you don't want to move, just press the action button and select what you want to do, but those that prompts you to select "move" are needlessly bureaucratic. PS: As a Brazilian, you're not far off thinking Tec Toy doesn't feel official. They were good representing SEGA from the early 90's until the end of the Saturn, besides that, they're mostly amateurish, really, specially the "games" they tried to make. I commend them for translating Phantasy Star to Portuguese, as well as dubbing and translating all scenes and text in Riven, the voice actors did a great job on that. It's kind of rare they made something software or even hardware-wise notable.
This was a good idea for a topic. Kudos to Joe or the commenter that suggested it. It's easy to forget that just because another generation of console comes out that doesn't mean the old generation is dead. Showing off the last games of a consoles life shows how far its gone.
There are new games still being released legit for SNES on both cartridge and download only (for Everdrives and emulation). They don't carry any Nintendo branding because they don't license SNES games anymore. If we're talking about unlicensed games, even the Atari 2600 is still a current console
Cannon Spike is great!!... thanks for mentioning Psikyo when you brought it up,no one ever does just Capcom.. also if you think about it, its play style is kinda like a much faster and contained version of Wolfteam's Grenada on the genesis... well, sorta... i guess any top down shooter could be compared that way..but thats what it reminded me of when i first played it... just capcom peeps instead of a little blue tank..

Joe I don't know if you mixed up the transition music in this video but I really like it. Something about it being part of the same song each time really did it for me. Thanks as always for the content :)
Las SNES game released in Spain was Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals in 1998, fully translated to Spanish.
The last one for the Mega Drive was Fifa 98.
Thank you Joe for the hilarious bit at the end :) , that is really funny
I'd like to see Neo Geo, Gamecube, GBA and Saturn in the next video, Joe!
Great video
Cool idea for a video! So many videos of game lists, strategies, rankings, etc. - cool that you thought of an untapped subject for a video. Glad I found your channel.
any episode with TATE MODE + Craig Stadler is gold
Stadler: One small mistake can effect your entire game! Dave: STADLER!!!
That skit was next level awesome! >< Thanks joe, great episode as always!
Man I love Game Sack. I look forward to every episode!!
Shut up Dave
More like ball sack!
This one was interesting, and I love how you went through the trouble of covering the final games for all regions. You were very thorough, and that kind of dedication is much appreciated. Consoles I'd like to see you cover in part 2 are the Master System, TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine, Sega CD, CD-I, 3DO, Jaguar, Saturn and N64. I'd also love to see a part 3 covering all of the early 8-bit consoles, and a part 4 covering all of the handhelds.
14:09 That is easily one of the most hilarious WTF things I've ever heard in my life. There are no words in the English language to describe it. The fact that it's oddly catchy makes it even funnier.
To be fair, the Mega Drive whimpered through it's entire lifespan in Japan...
yet the japanese kept a bunch of cool games to themselves, buttheads.
@@UltimateGamerCC - They always do, don't they? I'm STILL waiting for English versions of the Monster Rancher 1&2 remakes on the Switch...
@@JohnnyProctor9 they need to happen, Monster Rancher was great, not our fault that they changed the games so much that we disliked them.
it also actually ended in 2002
Nothing makes my day better than a Game Sack video to top off the weekend!
I will always laugh at the "think you can get it in mine?" bit
That ending skit was high art
Yes. We need more hentai golf games starring doughy middle aged guys. Its an untapped market.
Holy shit, I had totally forgotten about playing T&P's Jungle Games, that pinball screen brought back memories of playing it on PC at my grandma's 20+ years ago
I read: "I totally forgot that my PC grandma shit on a pinball game 20 years ago." Man, I gotta get my eyes checked.
Always forget you have your skits at the end and always so glad I watch to the end.
Expected every entry to be Madden or Fifa.
Thps 3 was a great close to the n64
You know its an incredible video when TATE MODE shows up! Keep up the great work!
This episode was really good. Hopefully you'll do some other consoles a few episodes from now.
Hopefully he goes to the dentist and finds out about the legend of the tooth brush.
My friends in college who took German class use to sing that schnappi song all the time. Never thought I'd hear it anywhere else, or even know what it was from
4:31 The main Heroine is so overly happy about this whole dungeon crawling situation 😃
So happy to get some Sack in this weekend, amazing video Joe.
This was a really good idea for a video! Way more interesting than launch titles at this point (at least when it comes to the major consoles.) Doing a video on last released games for hand helds could be fun.
why are you still around, nobody cares about you
@@V67L , yes, why ARE you still around, Reggie?
Man that Schnappi game sure gave me PTSD-flashbacks from the time that song was all over Germany. I´ll never forget that hook. I guess no one who heard it once does. Thanks Joe.
I love that you upload videos on sundays.
So you can watch in church?
ICH BIN SCHNAPPI, DAS KLEINE KROKODIL!
I would have NEVER thought to see Schnappi in a Game Sack episode.
Neat topic
Joe Redifer is such a cool Name for this Man
R-Zone next please. It would be interesting to see how developers were able to harness the power of the mighty zone throughout its impressive lifespan.
Gamesack literally said , “ it’s 2am? Here’s a reason for you to stay up even longer”
14:10 that Schnappi song is pure fire
Happy Valentines Day. Here’s a hockey game
14:23, i love that transition!, great episode!
Oh man. This was a great episode. Too bad the master system didn't get any love in this one though. Guess it has to wait til the next one.
Yeah it seems like a rather large omission. Oh well :/
@@christopherpope961 that's clear sequel fodder I guess.
Because they're still making games for the master system DUHHHHHH
@@A-Monkman only in brazil. Or your living in a paradise world of beutiful master system love?
thank you as always Joe
Would you count Starfox 2’s release on the SNES Classic as the final officially released game? I honestly could see arguments for and against.
My opinion: it was never released on the SNES, so it doesn't count.
There are new games still being released legit for SNES on both cartridge and download only (for Everdrives and emulation). They don't carry any Nintendo branding because they don't license SNES games anymore. If we're talking about unlicensed games, even the Atari 2600 is still a current console
I love your game reviews and that Tate mode effect was awesome
Cannon Spike is great!!... thanks for mentioning Psikyo when you brought it up,no one ever does just Capcom.. also if you think about it, its play style is kinda like a much faster and contained version of Wolfteam's Grenada on the genesis... well, sorta... i guess any top down shooter could be compared that way..but thats what it reminded me of when i first played it... just capcom peeps instead of a little blue tank..
Cannon Spike is the most under-rated game of all time!
Best channel on UA-cam. Without question.
I'm calling it: Craig Stadler is officially your new partner.
Katakana name of that "Karous" game reads "Ka-Ra-Su", which could be a reference to karasu-no-tengu, a creature from Japanese mythology.
Thank you
