Just liked and subbed brother. Keep it up. I’m gonna get into this soon as it seems like a very cool hobby. Can you tell me which equipment is most essential for start up ?
Thanks legend!! So your most essential would be, the gun, the yarn, the fabric, and glue id say next would be projector however if you're a decent drawer you can just draw a design on :)
That looks so great! Could you post a list of the tools you're using? It looks like your tufting gun is smaller and uses a finer weight of yarn. I also love your finishing clippers and need to know where you got them! 😂
That rug looks so good ! I got a question though, in every rug making videos I watch, I see you guys kind of struggling with your shadow while you draw the design. Why don't you draw on the other side of the canvas so you don't get bothered by it ? It might be a dumb question but I'm wondering why nobody's doing that 😂
Sooo that's actually really smart aha! I'd say if you had really thick markers that'd work well! Also depends on the strength of your projector as the fabrics pretty thick so it doesnt project to well to the other side unless you have a good projector :) I may just have to try your theory though!!
That’s hectic. One day I will order some because I want quite a few designed rugs in mind but I don’t have that kind of money to spend yet. You should make a video of the smallest and biggest rug you can do
I love the shading that you add. A lot of people just do flat colors. Great work!
Thank you so much 😀
Dope I loved everything about it 🔥💯‼️

@@tuftoff Thank you! Will do.
Very well done, ive just subbed, you deserve more.
thankyou so much!! :)
Yo great video! I’m trying to start making rugs and i can’t decide on what yarn material to use in my tufting gun. Any suggestions?
Thankyou so much! Do you mean like type of yarn? like acrylic, wool, cotton, etc? If that's what you mean always go with acrylic and wool :)
Quality rug that is. Im gonna start doing them myself how long did it take for you to get to the standard your at today cheers.
I'd say the more you practice the quicker you get better :) I've been doing it for around 2years
love it 😍
Legend 🖤
How do you pick the right colors for the different shades of blue? Is a “this looks about right” kinda way
Yer pretty much 😅 I’ve bought so many colours and yarns now that I usually know what I’m looking for 😊
How do you do your line spacing? Because my god it’s perfect
I know it's typical but just practice makes perfect, eventually it just becomes second nature
What cloth did you use as base? Looked so much denser compared to what other are using. And could you feed the machine with thinner yarns? thanks :)
Just use primary tufting fabric! And with yarns yep you can use thinner but for rug making I wouldn't go to thin
Question whenever u do the black outline do you just do one line of black all the way or do u do a complete fill of a black outline ?
Hope my question makes sense sorry
Yer for sure so i do the basic outline with black, then once I've finished all the tufting I come back and do heaps of black for the edges :)
Rug is awesome! Question what type of yarn do you use?
Appreciate that legend! I'm using acrylic yarn either 8 ply or 10ply :)

@@tuftoff if you do you won't need to flip your image! Don't forget that part

ohh this is such a good idea!! thankyou
Where do you get such cool colours of yarn from?
i get mine from every where the main spots though are spotlight, ozyarn, tuftcity :)
I love it very dope. How do you find the images? I’ve looked on Pinterest and I don’t see any of this quality
LOTS OF LOOKING 😅 if i really can't find anything i'll just pay an artist to draw 🙂
@@tuftoff thank you because I’ve been in confusion lol
How do you keep it so neat during the tufting. My stitches are never that neat.
Just keep the lines nice and even and spaced well! 😊
Did you used loop pile gun or cut pile? It seems like it was loop pile .
Cut pile :)
@@tuftoff cool!! I will try this out :)
what material is that you used on the back?
Nossa eu realmente gostaria de fazer muitas coisas, e por causa deste video, essa é uma delas kkkk 🇧🇷
Genial ,pero yo los hago a mano en fibra de yute y lana ahora todo es más industrial
What are the scissors you use??
Buckbill scissors from all things effy (use code TUFTOFF and you'll save some $$)
What was that, that you were applying in the back of carpet
The backing or the glue? :)
Can someone please tell me what scissors he’s using for trimming between lines?
I just use basic duckbill scissors :)
good rug but go easy wit dat glue god damn 🤣
It's actually criminal the amount of glue I go through 😅
yo tuftoff would i be able to get the sprite of the blastoise you made? I cant find it anywhere for the life of me would appreciate it
