Savage is right!!! My child broke her arm at the age of 3. No swelling, not bruising, no deformity. It was 3 days after the break when she began to favor the arm. Imagine my surprise when x-rays exposed a break. That was the moment I knew I am in for a lifetime of this child being absolute hell on wheels.
Its not uncommon. I broke my arm by falling off a ladder and proceeded to punch my brother in the chest for hitting me in the arm cause he smacked that arm. I was still in the single digit age range when I did that.

I get photosensitive seizures and they're the blank stare kind. I've had a lot of people tell me I'm not having a seizure, because I'm not flailing. It's infuriating. Especially since I get nauseous and my eyes start to hurt about a minute before it starts. Just long enough for me to lie down right where I am and tell whoever is around me that it's about to happen. I've even had people tell me I'm faking it because "you can't know it's about to happen,". So I want to thank you for the short about seizures. More people need to know that.
I have epilepsy as well. I know exactly what you're talking about. When you say "seizure", the average person expects drums up the thought of a grandmal seizure. Falling to the floor, muscle spasms, losing consciousness, etc. Petitmal, or absence, seizures are bad, too. I'm not photosensitive, but hormone balance is an issue for me. I'm sorry you had to go through that. But people are going to people, especially in areas they don't know a lot about in.
Yeah- I had a coworker that had the blank stare type of seizure, and one day I saw her zone out and the manager starts fussing at her (and of course she doesn’t respond) so I ran over and guided her to the nearest chair and explained what happened. When the girl woke up and reoriented to where she was and what was going on, she was so mad- bc she had to be seizure free for a year before being allowed to get her license, and she only had another month to go.
So much this. My seizures are diagnosed as non-epileptic, and seem to be a PTSD reaction to high levels of pain or shock. I can usually manage "gonna seize" and to get myself on the ground, and then I have to hope the people with me know to get something under my head and not try to hold me down. Best seizures (weird to say, but true) have been with friends who I've trained and given a document so they can keep me safe, one of whom whipped her t-shirt off to put it under my head and knelt by my side in a crowded venue, keeping me from bumping my head in case of spasms. Worst ever was in San Francisco airport where I fainted first, and came round with a strange man straddling my body. His "I'm a doctor" did not help my PTSD, and so, seizure. My parents finally realised what was happening, and got him to stop trying to hold me down, and he was very annoyed that I wasn't grateful for him sending me into absolute panic mode when I'd only fainted as I have POTS and I'd been standing too long. Anyone who tells you that you fake seizures is just rude and ignorant, and you shouldn't ever waste your time on them.

Unfortunately the helmet shattered and he had traumatic brain injury which left him a vegetable. He was able to look around and move his arms a bit and grab things and grunt, but he was bed ridden and non-verbal. I remember the first time I went to visit him with my parents after the accident, I was terrified because he wasn’t the fun and cool guy I remembered anymore. Instead he had bandages on his head from where they had to put a metal plate in his skull, he was drooling and was barely able to hold his dad’s hand. While we were there he had a seizure. He continued to have them periodically over the years. It’s been almost 23 years since then. He passed away as a result of the accident a couple years ago. He outlived both his parents while stuck in that bed. I have seizures and I tell people I fcb I flopp like a fish just dont cook me. An er dr told me my emergency bracelet saved my life. They also put medicine in my shin bone. Didn't feel the drill but I woke up screaming after the first vile of meds.
I got to the age of 42 before I ever broke a bone and I didn’t even know I broke my ankle. I’ve had several sprains so I really didn’t think it could be broken. Well we were in NY my grandma had passed. So I walked (hobbled really) to and around for 2 days. When we got back to OH it was really bad so I went to urgent care and they said I had broken it. That was the worst pain I ever felt. My advice if you think it’s broken go to the ER.
I've just begun having violent seizures at the age of 48 and, trust me, you can feel them coming on. Mine feel like someone is actually trying to shove my skull to one side inside the skin of my head. It's not exactly an accurate description but as close as I can get. No pain, just this feeling of being out of phase with everything around me and pressure on one side of my head between my skull and skin. It's weird to say the least
Up until I was a teenager I used to have seizures at least once a year. I could feel them coming but I was actually able to stop them, somehow. I could feel my ears start to go "beeeee" and my jaw and tongue start to paralyze, very weird feeling. If i didn't do anything the feeling would spread all over my body, I'd feel completely paralyzed and blank, wake up after some time with everyone around me really scared. However i learned that if i tried as hard as i could to move my jaw very fast as soon as i felt it coming it would stop. I only failed to stop them once after figuring this trick out. Luckily I haven't had this issue for years.
The first one, my brother fell off our electric scooter onto the ground. He said his arm was broken, my mum said that he was overexadurating and it was just a sprain. We went to our grandparents house for 5 days and he was using his hand alot, our grandparents have alot of land and animals etc. My mum and brother spent the night before Easter Sunday in the hospital, turns out he had a major break in his arm.
My last A&E/ER visit was just before Christmas last year. Fortunately I've a huge blank spot, from walking up to the receptionist, saying I think you guys are expecting me, to two days later in ITU. Having hypoxic hallucinations was a new one for me.
I walked on a broken ankle for over two weeks, and thought it was just normal pain because I was playing soccer at the time and my ankles would hurt sometimes after games. I was wrong. 😂
I love this because I used to go to the ER constantly because I used to have constant chest pains but it would get to the point of it being hard to breathe and sleep and they would help me into a room quickly and would do what they could to keep me calm(I was younger) and get me out asap! Love ER doctors❤
I still miss riding motorcycles around Texas hill country, but I haven’t been on one since the day I found out I was pregnant over 7yr ago. I owe my daughter that much.
Hey I’m an EMT, wondering if you can comment on EMS workers and how they play into things. I know we can be seen as just CPR machines and taxis to some ERs lmao
Noah, EMTs are very much appreciated! Often the first on the scene...a very disturbing and bloody scene dealing w crazy and emotional people! You are all awesome!
Dude THANK YOU! 1 ½ Hours you guys worked on me just to get me to the ambulance from my bed when I went into anaphylaxis. I knew I was in deep do-do when I heard the sirens on for ME😬 The hospital was 💩, you professionals are the tops ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏆
EMT's are the best! Since the 1960's when California passed a mandate for EMT's to perform field medicine! First for bringing in heart attack victims in to the ER when research has found a heart attack patient resuscitated within the first hour has the best chance of living. Now to help people off all emergencies, including helping me onto the ambulance when I broke my ankle and dislocated it, taking me quickly to the ER. The ER nurse gave me joy juice, and she and one or 2 others relocated my broken ankle, even though the drugs didn't have any effect. Just as well. The relocation couldn't and didn't hurt worse than the #10 pain I was already feeling.
That's the tank from the southbay you sir are funny I've been to most southbay e.r.'s for all sorts of exciting reasons I wonder if I've ever seen you irl? Your like a movie star awesome to see you in the bay thank you for patching us up you are appreciated.
Hey, didn't know You were working when I walked to ER with 7 broken bones in my foot. "Caught it" because no shoe fit (Drink responsibly...) The ER staff after surgery threw me on the curb after plastering it together (too right which caused further problems along the line) - I live 300 m down from hospital so I had faith in my ability to jump home. Nope, fortunately a kind grandma (that screeched from laughter after seeing me fail to travel to the entrance, still not even passing the waiting room) odered his equally kind son to drive me home after I face planted in front of her. Her son told me he never heard Nana laugh this hard before - some sense of humour with this elderly gem of a lady, I hope she's well cause we should be best friends. Thanks for not renting me a cane, STEVE. Thanks to YOUR PEOPLE I've more and less faith in humanity at the same time and broke my nose for the fourth time . THANKS A LOT, MFKR. LOVE YA ❤️😎
When I had a stroke I couldn’t talk right and my roommate kept asking me what was wrong. The only thing I remember is I kept dropping my cigarette. I drove to my counselors office and when I got to get office I tried to write something on a piece of paper and went into a grand mal seizure cuz I didn’t know I was having a stroke . Next thing I was in an ambulance and then in the hospital. I had to learn to walk and talk again and had no residuals effects except memory loss , a little balance issues and I forget words easily and get lost in thought. Since then I’ve had 4 blood clots. 2 broke and went to the my arm on the side I had my stoke
“Fun” Story from a few weeks ago: Went to the ER. I was having horrible pains in my right side. Honestly thought it was my appendix as I had all the symptoms. Turns out it was just a cyst. But he did say it was one of the most common things that mimicked appendicitis...... :(
A Spanish teacher at my school went around for a week with a broken rib. Back in 6th grade I had a double fracture on my arm with a bent wrist and I tried to sleep it off till my mom noticed my wrists were different shapes. People act like a broken bone feels like the end of the world but it doesn’t always and it’s important to be conscious of that
One time I didn’t notice that I had broken my ribs after falling on a table. I thought it was just a bad bruise and didn’t mind it or that I couldn’t lift my arm properly.
My late husband died on a motorcycle on his way to college when someone decid3d to turn left. One thoughtless moment turned into a lifetime of pain and trauma. I always suggest to motorcyclists that they never get on one ever again. Maybe you'll die quick but your family will live with that pain forever.
The second time I broke a bone (my foot) my parents thought I was just using it to get out of yard work. It was a WEEK before my parents took me to the ER. First time was when my arm bone basically split in half. Edit: They had to do surgery on my arm to keep it in place 😅
Well I broke my arms BOTH yes BOTH my arms when I was in school, The school nurse literally put a wet tissue on it and said its a bruise. Turns out when I went to eat, I couldnt pick up a mfing fork. Went to the hospital and found out both of them are broken, Had to have a cast on both of my arms for 6 weeks.
Good tips. I have weird issues with my nose and get random bleeds even after surgery and cauterisation usually when my bp goes up if im sick or stressed! Worse one I had was I was on the phone and I felt like this weird warm liquid gush down the back of my nose into my throat, had to excuse myself to go spit it out (thinking it was post nasal drip) nope was a mouthful of blood and as soon as i tipped my head forward the blood came rushing out that way! I can verify your stomach does not like blood getting into it!!
I remember my Aunt saved a woman (I believe it was her grandma?) while she was having a seizure. I personally wasn’t there, though my Uncle, who was with her at the time, told me the story. I remember being in awe that my Aunt actually saved someone from possibly dying.
Haha, waiting. 30 years ago as a teen I was taken in with C6/7 and severe L1 fractures plus the rest and lay on that bed lined up with others for 7 hours as priority 2. It happens! If you're able to sit up in the waiting room and watch TV for hours you're left there for a reason... you're not a trauma patient about to spend months in hospital or dying on the spot.
I've gone to the ER 3 times for severe kidney stones and haven't ever had to wait. I guess to be fair I've always gone in at odd times. Twice on the weekend and once in the early morning, but still surprising how many people seem to have to wait.
Yeah.... as I discovered if you're bleeding alot and passing out, they get you in a room pretty quick. I got attacked by a dog and lost boat loads of blood 😬 I was kind of amazed by how much blood a person can loose without dying. 😶
I once got pneumonia when I didn’t have insurance. By the time I went to the doctor, I noticed I had a little trouble concentrating on driving. When I got there, the receptionist looked at me and sent me straight back, notifying the doctor I’d come to see. My oxygen saturation was 90%, and while they were trying to put me on a nebulizer, I kept protesting that I couldn’t afford it. Of course, they did it anyway. I was never charged for it. I wish that doctor were still there.
I have broken so many bones in my life and they never hurt initially however the moment you touch it or tries to use it the pain begins. If it's just a fracture It takes a few minutes before the pain actually starts usually the give away is the bruising. I have broken a bone in my hand in school around 10ish went through school, went swimming practice in the evening and didn't realize it was broken till the next morning the area was discolored and the pain became really bad to close my hand. The worst part about breaks is when they move having them put back in place is by far the worst part.
Guess I’m from savage family! My doctor said I smashed one of the bones in my foot beyond recognition... I had been walking on it for 2 months after it started hurting. My Mom had a compound fracture, was holding her leg together and still trying to make sure my husband didn’t pass out.
When I was young, about 9 or 10, a kid in my class twisted my wrist to the point that IDK why but shortly after I passed out, hit my head and had a seizure. I've never had one since but not is it scary having one at a young age. Had to go to the hospital and get a CAT scan. Had to be woke up every hour that first night to make sure I would. Had to refrain from going on a field trip to McDonald's and the pool. But the worst one was for a few months I had short term amnesia to where I couldn't remember anything I'd done the day before.
Him - the er is like the red head child of the medical car system gets everything that no one else wants Ron - well at least I have powers and is friends with the boy who lived
I was 7 months pregnant when I shattered my ankle. Because my ex was drunk, I crawled to the front door so that the ambulance guys could help me to get onto the stretcher. They took me to the nearest country hospital, where the nurse said that she would call the doctor in the morning and he would see me at morning rounds. As obviously, I was panicking over nothing because I wasn't screaming. I asked if she could help me go to the toilet by supporting the ankle. She said that it would be fine for me to just lift my leg. When I did that, my ankle flopped totally sideways. She told me to put my leg down and ran to ring the doctor. Leaving me to straighten my ankle so that I could get my leg flat on the stretcher. Not fun, made me think that it isn't a good thing to have a high pain threshold.
Nose bleeding. Was a major childhood issue for me. Anytime it could just run. They tried to burn. They tried placebo too they gave me vitamin C lol. They tried everything. Then it got once so bad in 1700 m height in the Alps, that as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning waking up, it started to bleed like crazy. When I haven’t even moved yet laying still. It got so bad that it didn’t stop. I’ve lost so much blood they had to take me to hospital. There the Italian doctor said he can’t see nothing. He said the nose is twice as long or longer inside the skull than how much is sticking out our head. He said somewhere deep in my nose in my brains there’s a major vein bleeding that’s why can’t stop it with any my method. Then he gave me 3 prescriptions. One of an acid to mix it with water and sugar and drink it. One of a pill some drug. And a cream to put under my nose. Then it stopped. Forever. Ever since, since 2009 I had my nose bleeding maybe 3 times altogether. Back then it could happen 3 times weekly even 3 times daily.
There have been a few times that I haven't had to wait in an ER. Each time I knew I was possibly in trouble when they took one look at me and took me straight back.
@Bookwitchery - Yeah, I have been there too. It was not good. When they take one look at you, and 😊immediately escort you into the depths of The ER, it is not good. But, apparently, we both survived!
I've had a fraction in my right lower leg (fractions hurt worse than breaks belive it or not) I got it by jumping off a 10 foot tall tower onto a air bag in a trampoline park. I could get out and shockingly I dint cry I had to walk out and to two doctors offices. And that's how I learned how to use crutches
I broke my arm badly when I was a kid and had to wait like 5 hours before they could do anything. I think my parents said it was because I had eaten not long before and they had to give me meds to sedate me/put me under or whatever they had to do to put my bones back in place
Broken bones don't even make my top 10 most painful doctor or ER visits. I had a nurse stab with a needle when I was postictal, because they thought I was faking a seizure. They were so sure I was faking that they let me have multiple Tonic Clonic seizures over a 2 hour period before the new nurse, after a shift change, finally gave me diazepam. It took 2 doses before I stopped having back to back seizures. Now I have to deal with a lifetime of brain damage because the nurse thought I was faking.
I don't understand why nonbelief is some medical people's first reaction. If the person is not lying, then you are delaying his or her care. Don't do that.
when i was 4 years old at laos a stray dog came at me and and bit me on my left arm i know this because there’s a mark on my left arm and i can remember it vividly too LOL
I fractured my ring finger in 10th grade during gym and didn’t know until the nurse was like “your hand is green”. I didn’t feel a thing when it twisted and broke- needed surgery after!
You would have loved to see me rolling up to the ER in an ambulance while projectile vomiting massive amounts of blood from my mouth and nose because an artery in my sphenoid sinus cavity ruptured 6 days AFTER sinus surgery. The inflatable balloon thing in my nose didn’t stop the bleeding (I continued bleeding down the back of my throat) so they had to rush me into surgery to stop the bleeding. I lost almost 50% of my entire blood volume before they stopped the bleeding. It was literally like a horror movie! Before the ENT surgeon arrived, the ER doctor was just outside my room and I heard him say to someone else “You’re going to have to wait because this lady is dying!!” That was the last thing I needed to hear!!!

They also put medicine in my shin bone. Didn't feel the drill but I woke up screaming after the first vile of meds.
Funny how most of what you're saying on your channel closely mimics my inner monologue at work.
This guy kills me but he’s so good!! Makes my day!
So, interrupted that abnormal brain wave by moving your jaw. Interesting.
That thumbnail Is Lookin Fire🔥
He got the drip
Oh yeah 🔥🔥
'Do we have seizure pads?'
'Yes, but actually no.'
I love that you put a bunch of Tips from the ER on one video!!! U r awesome!

Tbh most motorcycle accidents are caused by road users that ARENT the motorcyclist.

I just love these videos. Surprisingly he speaks a language I understand
for some strange reason i Love the way you mock everything/Everyone with the term MFer ...🤣🤣🤣
I love this because I used to go to the ER constantly because I used to have constant chest pains but it would get to the point of it being hard to breathe and sleep and they would help me into a room quickly and would do what they could to keep me calm(I was younger) and get me out asap! Love ER doctors❤
Listening to this guy is getting me through my work day.
5:07 - the way you said Hooray! Got me
Dont let their face grind on the ground and he winks, hes got a dirty mind like ME YAYY
Him talking so calm and with a smile about all these torture methodes really creeps me out😂😅
I still miss riding motorcycles around Texas hill country, but I haven’t been on one since the day I found out I was pregnant over 7yr ago. I owe my daughter that much.
when he said dont get on a motorcycle i said "NO WAY! YOU CAN DO THAT?????"
Omg, this is the reality of the ER. We used to sit around the table and compare stories.
I’ve said this on all of his videos but I’d rather die than go into crippling debt 😂

I knew I was in deep do-do when I heard the sirens on for ME😬
The hospital was 💩, you professionals are the tops ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏆
I just love you! Your irony has everything it needs to be perfect!
Kind regards from Germany!
That's the tank from the southbay you sir are funny I've been to most southbay e.r.'s for all sorts of exciting reasons I wonder if I've ever seen you irl? Your like a movie star awesome to see you in the bay thank you for patching us up you are appreciated.
God forbid, a Full moon Monday where someone just commented on it being quiet. Recipe for hellfire
LOVE YA ❤️😎
Having bones on one side of your body broken at the same time hurts more than anyone will ever know- i survived
Motorcycle completely on the point.

Next theme how dirty the ER waiting room is
I wish I could play your videos in the Emergency waiting room tv's
The second time I broke a bone (my foot) my parents thought I was just using it to get out of yard work. It was a WEEK before my parents took me to the ER. First time was when my arm bone basically split in half.
Edit: They had to do surgery on my arm to keep it in place 😅
Well I broke my arms BOTH yes BOTH my arms when I was in school, The school nurse literally put a wet tissue on it and said its a bruise. Turns out when I went to eat, I couldnt pick up a mfing fork. Went to the hospital and found out both of them are broken, Had to have a cast on both of my arms for 6 weeks.
what happened to the nurse after that? did you tell the nurse?

That last one is so true!😂😂😂
Good tips and advice, love the humor..🤣
RICE: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.
As one of the people who walked on a broken foot, adrenaline is amazing. I never knew I actually broke it until I sat down 😅
I had a bone marrow biopsy when I was pregnant of my son. I was awake and not medicated! I gave birth 4 times but that was the worst pain of my life
My pre-seizure warning when I had chronic seizures was a tingling sensation on my tongue. Also during most of my seizures I went temporarily blind
Can’t wait for tips on Tuesday
I had a broken foot, and the school nurse made me walk up and down 3 flights of stairs not once, not twice, but three times.
Your adorable and make my laugh so much. Thank you.
Yeah.... as I discovered if you're bleeding alot and passing out, they get you in a room pretty quick. I got attacked by a dog and lost boat loads of blood 😬 I was kind of amazed by how much blood a person can loose without dying. 😶
Love your tips.
God i love your skits!!! 😂👍❤
I adore your pleasant smile and demeanor while explaining these common-sense things! Can I adopt you?
My elderly mom was in a lot of pain with a broken shoulder, but the shingles were worse
@Vincent Harris honestly shut up
@Vincent Harris seriously, shut the fuck up rn....
Him - the er is like the red head child of the medical car system gets everything that no one else wants
Ron - well at least I have powers and is friends with the boy who lived
You is funny, love your videos, entertaining and educational keep the good work MAN 💝💝💝
I was 7 months pregnant when I shattered my ankle.
I have swallowed more blood from nosebleeds over my life than I care to remember, and I've never had stomach upset because of it.
Yea my mum totally didn’t go to the hospital where they didn’t care about her broken foot and then make a full Christmas dinner with her broken foot-

2:56 HEY THAT’S ME! Lol. Under control though thankfully. Listen to your doctor my fellow epilepsy people 💯
Nose bleeding.
I've had a fraction in my right lower leg (fractions hurt worse than breaks belive it or not)
I got it by jumping off a 10 foot tall tower onto a air bag in a trampoline park.
I could get out and shockingly I dint cry I had to walk out and to two doctors offices.
And that's how I learned how to use crutches
Fractions are math (1/3, 3/8…) fractures are ‘cracks’ in the bone… technically it is a broken bone just like a bone that is completely separated…
If you are having a stroke, call an ambulance.
I broke my arm badly when I was a kid and had to wait like 5 hours before they could do anything. I think my parents said it was because I had eaten not long before and they had to give me meds to sedate me/put me under or whatever they had to do to put my bones back in place
I remember when I had to walk on a hurt/broken/fractured foot and act like everything was fine for months :')
Happy birthday

Why am I thinking I’ll wait and see the doc? Lol!
Don’t mind me, just jogging in with my 2 broken legs
