@@user-oo3oi9ki2j They animated the extra pages too quickly and didn't really show moments of e.g. Mikasa, Levi, Jean etc when they were older. For example, in the manga we saw how an older Gabi and Falco were taking care of Levi.
@@MorganSTM Those were replaced by the new scenes of them actually being productive, like giving candy to kids (which acts as callback to Levi being startled by a clown offering him candy) and planting a new tree.
Mikasa was never a slave to Eren, and she proved it, showing Ymir that true love is freedom, not slavery.
Duuude, you just made me remember that at times (like that convo), Eren says he doesn't know why he does certain things. And I believe when those moments happen, it's truly his free will, but I also think, it's actually sometimes ymir talking to & influencing him like how he influenced grisha in the chapel. So it would totally make sense in that moment talking to Mikasa and Armin, that ymir would tell eren in his ear to tell Mikasa that she's just a slave, you have no free will, so that she's exactly where ymir was and felt when king fritz told her that and fucked other women in front of her (which thankfully Eren never did 😅 at least). Mikasa is the 🐐 of character development imo
I remember this scene, watching Reiner, Annie, and Pieck attempting to stop the centipede. Their facial expressions convey a sense of despair, yet they persist in their efforts to prevent the centipede from making contact with eren again

The moments of mikasa's headaches taking over to remind her to kill eren since he asked her to is what gets me
Oh wow..Never thought of it like that.
I mean, I know he wanted her to kill him (while not wanting to die at the same time) and what she was doing was pretty much a mercy (since he had long become something not even human anymore) but still!
When Reiner screamed "When will our torment end?" that was painful. Those Plot-Armour titan jokes are funny, but Reiner has gone through a lot. He was on the brink of committing suicide but kept on pushing himself so that he can see the kids he care about grow up in a better world.
Levi's scream when launching the final thunder spear of the battle, with Armin's colossal titan fighting Eren's, ending with Mikassa doing what was needed...
AoT may have its flaws, but I will rate it highly all my life because it touches something deeper in me, which makes it resonates with how I feel about the world around me. I haven't watched many anime: Death Note is still on hold. but I will consider it as equally great, if not better,
than Breaking Bad and Mr. Robot.
