I have actually seen people make freezer smoothie bags with everything you need in it besides the liquid . It saves time if your busy in the morning or just like to pop it in your bullet and go! You could make different combinations so you have variety. You can even freeze banana chunks. Kiwi freezes well too and I quite like it with berries.

Freezing things kills some of the nutrition. Not as much as cooking does. But fresh is always best.

@@ambermoore5376 Yes you can :) Take a baking sheet and line it with saran wrap (aka cling wrap). Place you sliced avocado pieces on the baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in the freezer for around 2-3 hours. Remove baking sheet from freezer. Transfer the avocado pieces into a freezer bag.
The reason you need to freeze the avocado pieces on the baking sheet first is because otherwise the pieces will all stick together when it freezes and it is almost impossible to separate them afterwards.

If you break the bananas into chunks, they blend up easily. I freeze them in a big Ziploc bag. About six chunks = one banana.

I freeze my avocados whole. I let them thaw out in the fridge overnight, always ripe when I cut it open. I use the other half either in a salad or the next morning. I buy several avocados when they are on sale.

Spinach lasts longer in the fridge if you put one or two pieces of paper towel in the bag or box with it. This delays it getting wet or slimy. Sometimes I use half a Banana for a smoothie. I also like to split one in half and stick a popsicle stick in it - a way to have a frozen treat, without the sugar and dairy of ice cream.

I had my bariatric nutritionist telling me she hoped I would wake up from surgery and magically like ANY veggie! I really wanted to like this, but was of course skeptical. I am a little over 1.5 year post op sleeve and have been stalled for months after getting way off track. I actually loved it! All I tasted was the banana, which I definitely don't mind! i have had surgery twice in my life could of been 3 first was when i had 4 grandmaw seizures, 2nd was a work incident involving a knife and 4 cut tendons or 3 cant remember, the 3rd one was the dumbest idea i ever done i was drunk and decided to use my foot as a bipod (for my gun thankfully it was a bbgun) but it punched a hole straight through my toe like i could see through it anyway i decided not to go and im not kidding the next day the hole in my toe was healed no marks well there was a little bump but thats it and i have a image of it on my tracphone but i would have to search the entire house just to find it
but anyone that sees that and drinks dont be dumb and use your feet as a bipod .. dont use a gun in general live and learn from the mistakes

Glad I found your site, I'm signed up for weight loss surgery but freaked out about all the possible side effects afterwards. I don't see why I can try a the bariatric diet/ way of eating without surgery and see how well I can do first. I have been following keto and A1c dropped from 6.9 to 5.4 but no weight loss. Not understanding the whole macro thing compleatly. Thank you for your learning videos and any tips or tricks are always a welcome in my book!

Wonderful! I'd love to see you do a video of both an example of the salad we should eat and then the sensible dinner!
