that was perfect i want to try and do both Beinn Dearg and Carn a chlamain using a bike so this information with time and distance using your red / yellow markings has help me. cheers
Great info Dan, thank you. Will definitely take the bike on this 1 👍 The mountain names aren't easy for sure but great to see you're making the effort to find how they're pronounced. I also found out that "Dearg" is pronounced "Jerrig" after we did Stob Dearg a couple of months back. Keep up the good work, atb. Steve.
Yeah the bike will make the trip much more enjoyable steve, and yeah i was saying dearg for a while as well😂 wish they all had names like ben lomond, that would be nice
Thanks and you know what it probably is, but i think you would have to go passed the bridge where we dropped the bikes off and go up the proper track that is less steep, but yeah i reckon this is probably one of the easiest to bike up, never biked up any before though so take that with a pinch of salt😂
@@DanMunroMan thanks for that. Think I'm gonna head that way in next couple of weeks as do quite a bit of biking too. If nothing else it looks a lovely ride up the glen! 🙂
Great job Dan.
Thanks Doug!
Good video Daniel, Well done.

Excellent video....added this Munro to my to-do list.
Just out of interest how was the gradient for the bike
So i think you travel up 100m on the way in but it genuinely doesnt feel like it, barely felt like we went up at all! Was a lot of fun
@@DanMunroMan cheers for the info mate
Hoping to head to bag Beinn a Ghlo tomorrow, so checking out your video now.
Keep them coming... braw info🤟
Happy to help mate! Enjoy your walk :)
Another good vid. Looked like a land rover track you joined on the way up after dropping off your bikes. Do you think it's bikeable to the summit?

I've yet to find anyone who uses their companies cycle to work scheme to buy a bike for work purposes! haha
Hahahaha its a brilliant scheme😂😂
