Doesn't seem to be intended for most gameplay scenarios. I could get by without the character selection UI, the top right menu UI. Sometimes I'm gonna need the mini map for exploration, and the combat information in the bottom right is useful during combat. I think stamina and health isn't too intrusive to stay most of the time. I just wish I could cut out a lot of the UI clutter if I'm running a well known team.
@@Jaker788 Yes, they should add an automatic hud that only activates when you're in fight, or an editable HUD where you can at least have the map and missions. I was playing with no HUD yesterday and I didn't even know where to head to, I had to turn it off. I needed to check the minimap so again I had to turn it off. Sadly this No hud option is not well implemented. I wish they could add more options for flexibility and stuff.

The current implementation removes ALL 2D elements, including text bubbles over NPCs, interact button prompts for any interactive objects/NPCs, and unexpected 2D effects like the 4 leaf sigles and other similar things like the ones in Chenyu Vale. The current implementation is the easiest implementation and the most useful only for cinema/recording purposes. But definitely not for immersive gameplay.

For example, 200 resin and overworld boss respawn after 10 seconds should *NOT* have taken Hoyoverse 4 years to do. and not to mention, there are still so many more crucial QoL changes that aren’t yet provided. maybe another 4 years: - saveable and switchable among characters artifact preset custom loadouts - increased resin regen rate - increased artifact inventory storage - slower stamina consumption when sprinting in non-combat scenarios - scene skip buttons - guaranteed pity for 4* rate up characters or weapons that you want to get - artifact main stat selector - artifact substat reroll - be able to use condensed resin on overworld bosses - 5-star selector - increased condensed resin cap - increased 5-star artifact drops. Genshin would so much be better if Hoyoverse would only truly listen to player feedback that they’ve been getting for 4 years. But no, the crucial QoL systems are always implemented on their other games such as HSR & ZZZ. like what the heck-ZZZ has scene skip buttons. there goes a most requested QoL change that genshin players have been asking for years and it just went to ZZZ. a story-heavy comic book-like game has a scene skip button just like that.

the review dialogue is my fav, cuz theres been far too many instance where i leave it on auotplay, and the traveler has a thought and it nexts it without me finishing reading it, or i read it and not process the info so i gotta redo the whole thing or pray i figure it out along the way

I'm sorry but unless I'm missing something, the Hide UI during dialogue is the biggest piece of turd Ive have ever seen. The autoplay doesn't continue when u hide UI and MC dialogue options are not shown so u can't really immerse urself during story dialogues and would have to frequently turn on the UI to click the dialogues.

It’s all bullshit bc now genshin is just a farming game instead of the fun interactive game it used to be when it started. @@onika.apologist Honestly, I've been playing since 3.8 and some of these updates I feel like aren't needed. But, at the same time, some of them are pretty basic. As for the farming part of these updates, I actually really appreciate the lowered respawn time. My opinion on it is that the bosses are coming faster, yes, but they still cost the same amount of resin. You can only farm so much for certain characters each day anyway. Instead of waiting for three minutes at a shrine or waypoint, I'd much rather take a drink of my water and kill the boss again. It gets rid of unnecessary wait time for me at least.
Im really proud for hoyoverse and im never quitting genshin bc this game is the first time make me really wanna play rpg game. I really wanna play but that time i don't have phone. And now i have phone im really happy bc i get to play them. I always imagine that if i already get phone i will download genshin first. So with the hiding dialogue, at least for me the voices won't auto play and i can't press a button to continue when it's hidden. To get the next line i have to unhide it. Surely that's not how it's supposed to work right? I would assume for voiced lines set to autoplay they should continue to autoplay while hidden.
@@last8exile Not sure I understand the point of being able to hide dialogue text then if you can only hide it for one line at a time. How many people actually would use that? Might as well allow people to use it for voiced lines too, I'd rather watch characters and scenery than have my brain want to read text that's being read to me already.

You forgot the expedition change. 20hr gives minimum of 17 meaning you just need ONE character to complete your daily grind. The amount is total to all 3. 🎉🎉🎉
A lot of them are character preview songs. Those are all compiled in a few specific playlists on the hoyomix channel. None were actual BGM (Battle Ground Music). One of them was the Neuvilett character preview. The other I think might've been Klee
So when fishing for echo stats, i should try the first stat first, then up to the 3rd stat, then finally the last? And which stats specifically am i looking for? I though atk and crit was general rule of thumb but are there other stats i should be looking out for. Not artifact auto lock the filter which can have 3 main stats it means now you chose 3 stats like crit damage atk% crite rate it will automatically lock it and the 3 stats lock just got introduced you can check in genshin main menu notice

These are cool n all, but man, if only they added a dialogue skip option and a smoother gliding landing. I don’t think anyone gives a shit about the often long ass daily commissions where npc’s just yap and yap and yap just for nothing. And about the glider; when you stop gliding you just fall straight down, it feels clunky as shit. (Take WuWa for example, they have very convenient and smooth gameplay experience, not to mention the infinite stamina (when outside of combat) and ability to run up walls) The update was ALMOST enough to make me somewhat enjoy Genshin again, but nah.
Imma have to agree with you there Personally I've never cared about gliders because they're just not..optimal when there's characters like sayu, clorinde, yelan, alt sprints, etc for speed. Daily commissions, I don't bother to complete the ones other than Mondstadt cause it feels like half the time they just yap about something like finding 100 pencils scattered across the 5 different mainlands, then you gotta talk some more when you just wanna defeat the enemies and move on Ever since encounter points, that's the only thing that drove me to do the inazuma story, less dailies lol Another thing personally is skins because who's spending $30 (usd) on a character skin when often mods have them and more 💀

@@onika.apologist Honestly, I've been playing since 3.8 and some of these updates I feel like aren't needed. But, at the same time, some of them are pretty basic. As for the farming part of these updates, I actually really appreciate the lowered respawn time. My opinion on it is that the bosses are coming faster, yes, but they still cost the same amount of resin. You can only farm so much for certain characters each day anyway. Instead of waiting for three minutes at a shrine or waypoint, I'd much rather take a drink of my water and kill the boss again. It gets rid of unnecessary wait time for me at least.
I'm so glad they're adding optimizations like we've been asking for, it tells me that Genshin is not being abandoned soon

And now i have phone im really happy bc i get to play them. I always imagine that if i already get phone i will download genshin first. That's an absurd amount of QoL. The one I was waiting the most for is also included, which is dialogue replay
respawn time on bosses is huge and no HUD during gameplay or text on screen during dialogue is awesome.
So with the hiding dialogue, at least for me the voices won't auto play and i can't press a button to continue when it's hidden. To get the next line i have to unhide it.
Surely that's not how it's supposed to work right? I would assume for voiced lines set to autoplay they should continue to autoplay while hidden.
It is never intended to play with hidden UI
@@last8exile Not sure I understand the point of being able to hide dialogue text then if you can only hide it for one line at a time. How many people actually would use that?
Might as well allow people to use it for voiced lines too, I'd rather watch characters and scenery than have my brain want to read text that's being read to me already.

A lot of them are character preview songs. Those are all compiled in a few specific playlists on the hoyomix channel.

The artifact auto lock was from 4.3!!
Not artifact auto lock the filter which can have 3 main stats it means now you chose 3 stats like crit damage atk% crite rate it will automatically lock it and the 3 stats lock just got introduced you can check in genshin main menu notice

These are cool n all, but man, if only they added a dialogue skip option and a smoother gliding landing. I don’t think anyone gives a shit about the often long ass daily commissions where npc’s just yap and yap and yap just for nothing. And about the glider; when you stop gliding you just fall straight down, it feels clunky as shit. (Take WuWa for example, they have very convenient and smooth gameplay experience, not to mention the infinite stamina (when outside of combat) and ability to run up walls)
The update was ALMOST enough to make me somewhat enjoy Genshin again, but nah.

Personally I've never cared about gliders because they're just not..optimal when there's characters like sayu, clorinde, yelan, alt sprints, etc for speed.
Daily commissions, I don't bother to complete the ones other than Mondstadt cause it feels like half the time they just yap about something like finding 100 pencils scattered across the 5 different mainlands, then you gotta talk some more when you just wanna defeat the enemies and move on
Ever since encounter points, that's the only thing that drove me to do the inazuma story, less dailies lol
Another thing personally is skins because who's spending $30 (usd) on a character skin when often mods have them and more 💀
