Watch How to Use 3 Colors to Paint This Watercolor Landscape

In this demo I show you how you can just 3 primary colors when you paint in watercolor to make any color combination. I wanted to do a simple and quick landscape and challenged myself to using just 3 watercolors:
I used:
Alizarin Crimson
Ultramarine Blue
Lemon Yellow
I work with Holbein watercolors (not a sponsor!!!)
I worked on 9 x 12 inch cold press 140# watercolor paper. I used artist's tape and attached the paper to a piece of foam core. It buckled a bit but dried much flatter.
I can mix any color just using these 3 primary colors. While its easier to have more colors on my palette this exercise helped me focus on mixing color and keeping the watercolor simple and loose.
