Some of us just look ugly and poor when young. As we get older we changed a little. Eyelid and nose are the 2 most common plastic surgery for Asian. I don’t care I don’t judge it’s your body your money. Just be honest vs making excuses. If you get breast implants. Just said you want bigger breasts. Some of them, surely didn't get a plastic surgery, It's normal for a people's face structure to change when getting older or hitting puberty..My brother's nose was flat before and his eyes was also small, but as he grows older his nose started to get pointy and his eyes became widder and bigger...Also People's face can also change A LOT when they lose weight 🙂
Also their hairstyles changed which greatly affected the shape of the face in photos. So between maturing, losing or gaining weight and hairstyles, (not to mention makeup) - you can look like an entirely different person!

I'm really doubtful that the photo at 5:31 is of Wang Yibo. He has been in the public eye since he was a teenager (there are numerous age progression photos of him on the internet) and the young man in the side-by-side photo would need a lot more than a nose job to come out looking like Wang Yibo.

Besides, those "scars" are located where no surgeon would cut, they cut in between the nostrils or above. Also, look at the ears. The photos that Yibo's antis use to "prove" he had surgery have differently-shaped ears. That's the first thing I always look for. I've seen Yibo's real childhood pics, like preadolescent pics and guess what? Same ears. Same eyes. Same nose, albeit a bit too big for his child-sized face.
For a lot of asians the growing is the reason for glow up. My nose was wide and flat and my face was round and chubby when I was younger. Don't understand why you compare pictures with such great age gaps 🙈

Nobody knows that the nose is a part of the body that also grows, I would give anything to have a nose like when I was a child. But however the boy in the photo is not Yibo and he doesn't look like Yibo, it's technically impossible for Yibo baby to look more like the current Yibo than Yibo in his teens, even when is a strange age to grow up.
Na they all (on this list) had something done. It's a part of that job. They have to appear in front of a camera, I'm a photographer I can easily see that most Chinese actors have had work done so that they don't look "flat" or mis-shapen threw a camera lens. Yang Mi had her jaw line smoothed out. Her 3/4 or side view looks unnatural. Nose Job and Double Eyelids are very common plastic surgeries for Actors and Artists in East Asia. Usually everything else is done by Botox and professional makeup artists a good amount of Botox can sharpen the looks of your jaw line for quite a while, because the surgery itself is quite scary with high chances of it looking wrong with age, which most actors won’t do. Also, looks change with age especially with the shape of your eyes, lips, and lower nostril. If you take care of yourself, you’ll look and feel younger.
I guess you guys forget that the care someone have for his/her skin nowadays is different than years ago. I look different from when i was a teenager. I look way better and not because of plastic surgery, but because i take care of my skin and make sure I don't age pretty bad. That's normal for everyone. I have seen a lot of Chinese actors / actresses who have plastic surgery but they weren't on the list, instead she put a picture of "Yibo" which she probably got from a Yibo haters page where they edit or put pictures of other people who aren't Yibo just to ensure that Yibo had plastic surgery on his nose LOL.
I won't argue who has had PS and who hasn't. but a general fact is that puberty has much much much effect on Asians (being an asian myself). also weight change can lead to unbelievable changes, like face fat reduces, body proportions appear to have changed, bone structure becomes defined (especially facial). Asians don't usually concentrate on their looks a lot in their teenage (because of immense pressure of qualifying college entrance exams lol), but after that the glow up is really amazing.

I have the same face shape as Yang Zi (before). I'm skinny but still got a lot of face fat. The procedure she has done is Jaw shaving which is quite common in east asia. It makes your face look small like an anime character or youthful.

Yang Zi had orthodontic treatment. Her two "vampire" teeth were pulled out and then wore braces for a long time to forcibly press the entire row of teeth down. So after removing the braces, her entire face will gradually change, don't you know this basic knowledge? Didn't you watch her dramas? She has a big face for a while, small face for a while, big eyes for a while, small eyes for a while and that's the magic of makeup.

Besides, those "scars" are located where no surgeon would cut, they cut in between the nostrils or above. Also, look at the ears. I won't argue who has had PS and who hasn't. but a general fact is that puberty has much much much effect on Asians (being an asian myself). also weight change can lead to unbelievable changes, like face fat reduces, body proportions appear to have changed, bone structure becomes defined (especially facial). Asians don't usually concentrate on their looks a lot in their teenage (because of immense pressure of qualifying college entrance exams lol), but after that the glow up is really amazing.

I have the same face shape as Yang Zi (before). I'm skinny but still got a lot of face fat. The procedure she has done is Jaw shaving which is quite common in east asia. It makes your face look small like an anime character or youthful.

Yang Zi still have same nose, lips and jaw. The one I notice her tooth is perfect now, she still had sharp canine tooth in Ashes of Love. She is maturing and she have a good makeup artist, that's makes a big difference.

I agree as you get older you change , but yang zi really has changed a lot and so has Angela baby . You usually keep the look you had when your younger but these two really have had it done. Yang Zi had orthodontic treatment. Her two "vampire" teeth were pulled out and then wore braces for a long time to forcibly press the entire row of teeth down. So after removing the braces, her entire face will gradually change, don't you know this basic knowledge? Didn't you watch her dramas? I feel like some of these examples are not plastic surgeries, but rather a direct consequence of the intense weight loss that these celebs are forced to go through (a very valid conversation but very different from this one). For example, Yang Mi might have weighed about 50-52kg before. Now she probably weighs like 42kg. Of course, she's not going to look the same.
