Young Tejaji Singer of village Thikarda

The video features Dhanraj who was the only singer from Kalbelia tribe among majority of Mali (gardener community) singers of Thikarda village near Bundi. This is the first video of Dhanraj when he was only ten year old.He used to attend school and graze cattle in the nearby forest. But when the book 'Tejaji Gatha' got published his father asked for a copy for his son and Dhanraj found so much interest that he picked singing from it. Today Dhanraj has matured and is recognised in the region to be one of the finest singers.
