    The Man had great strength in he's used of the brush! Few artist know how to put this into practice! I have always enjoy looking at his work.

      Far and away the opposite. He lived vibrantly in the present moment. He had a huge family. He created astounding masterpieces one after another.

    I listened and I tried to find that, but I found a different piece. The music in this video is Fratres by Arvo Part. Not Tabula Rasa.

    How did he get that texture ..looks like he used almost dried paint from the wall..does anyone know what colour his palette was for figures ..

      The paint on the walls was simply scraped off the palette. Freud didn't mix or use those leftovers when creating images. One pigment that was essential for him was cremnitz white, which is lead based and reasonably dry and thixotropic.
