GREAT video mon ami. I watched this with one eye open as I had heard it had recently been sold so I was worried it had been got at by somebody from London, and perhaps it now had a glass Grand-Designs atrium and an underground car-park and Vim under the sink. But happily it looks the same. Anyway, the sky is beginning to bruise so I must go.... or I shall be forced to camp. Thank you and stay safe during the madness from a homesick Englishman in France. 🇬🇧

When the water is low at Haweswater you can see the village that was flooded to make the reservoir. Very bittersweet, very Withnail.
We’ve been back several times there - such a awe inspiring place.
Early 1990s we stumbled across the property when it was derelict . It’s years later that I seen the movie and the house .
