- Foreign students were warned to stay off the streets in Bishkek after a violent mob attack on foreigners in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The assault was allegedly directed at international students and migrants. Victims have said Pakistani and Indian students were targeted.

I live in Kyrgyzstan as a foreigner.
I hope people still come to visit Kyrgyzstan, because it is only by interacting with the world that these backwards mindsets will be healed.
But other than all that, if you try to learn the Kyrgyz language and travel to the mountains, you will be perfectly fine InshAllah.
It started on May 13 when a local student misbehaved with an Egyptian student. The Egyptian student beat up the local Kyrgyz and a video was made and went viral. After that, the local people started attacking the foreign student. There are 70 thousand foreign students, all of them have paid the fee in dollars. It would have been fine if the matter had only been with the students, but the local administration, along with the criminals, attacked the foreign students.
You, a lawyer, are stirring up interracial strife, on May 13, a local student wanted to meet a foreign student and went to the hostel where the girls lived, but the guys, students from Egypt, were jealous of their girls and a conflict began in which they beat our citizens by a crowd, the injured guys filed a complaint with the police, but no what measures were not taken against foreign citizens who were escaping, after this incident a video appeared on the network where a crowd
somewhere 15 foreign citizens are severely beating 3 local citizens with a stick, because of this young students gathered at a rally to ask the police for justice, why they are not detaining foreign citizens who were involved in the beating of our citizens.

⚡️The Ministry of Internal Affairs presented a chronology of events that led to the unrest in Bishkek:
▪️On the night of May 13, near a pizzeria in the "Vostok-5" neighborhood, a group of Kyrgyz locals encountered a group of foreign students and began to harass them, asking why they were smoking there.
▪️One of the locals started to get physical, and the foreign students began to run away. They reached their residence, a hostel on Ogonbaev Street.
▪️Unknown individuals entered the hostel, used force, and took money and belongings from the students.
▪️Then, four unknown individuals, acting violently, began to enter different rooms, breaking down doors. When they entered rooms where female students were living, other foreign students in the hostel heard the noise and came out to confront the intruders.
▪️A fight broke out between them in the hostel yard. Three of the intruders ran away, leaving one behind. The foreign students inflicted injuries on him and then called an ambulance for him.
▪️At the hospital, the beaten Kyrgyz local gave a false name, did not explain the circumstances of the incident, did not file a report, and disappeared after receiving medical assistance.
▪️Two of the four attackers on the foreign students in the hostel have been identified. They are 18 and 19-year-old natives of the Kemin district. The other two are being sought.
▪️On May 17, a video of the fight in the hostel yard was posted on a popular social media group. The video was without explanation of the true circumstances, which caused public outcry and widespread discontent among the youth, leading to local unrest.

Fun fact; it was the Kyrgyz who started this. 3 Kyrgyz men were harassing Egyptian female students, even trying to SA them. They ran back to the campus and yelled for help. A group of Egyptian male students, about 15 of them, saw the Kyrgyz men following them back to the women's dorms and attacked; beating the men black and blue.
The Kyrgyz men later lied saying it was the Egyptians attacking local girls.

After watching all the videos, I can say that the local guys started a conflict with students from Egypt. when the students returned to the dorm. 4 local guys broke into their dormitory and they were rebuffed by 20 students. as a result, three escaped, leaving one to be torn to pieces by a crowd of students. footage of this moment quickly spread across the local media and several hundred locals surrounded the student dormitory to avenge the beaten local guy. I am sorry that other innocent students suffered because of this incident and I apologize on behalf of my compatriots, I am for the friendship of peoples. NO to war and no to violence☮️
