Asylumtale is honestly depressing. Especially for Sans.
He's lost Pap. The one thing that kept him happy.
He can't help that he's insane. In fact, most people in Insane Asylum's die because of their mental issue. They're taken away from their families and friends, and usually they aren't allowed to have visitors.

It should be called Asylum feels.
Sans can see a ghost of Papyrus, as none of his medic/caretakers can.
Sans has Dementia, btw.
You scratch your arms and head until you bleed, and believe it wasn't you. You get voices inside your head, sometimes you're crazy, sometimes you're all happy, knowing (Papy Ghostie) is 'there.'
It usually happens when you loose many people to death, pretty much.

It's nice to see that people care to do fanart of this AU, since the one who created Asylumtale in the first place is a close highschool friend of mine. :)
Here's my theory.......
Asylumtale is after aftertale. After papyrus was killed Sans went into depression. Depression made him go in.."Sans." (Hehehehehe) so they tied him up and then, asylumtale formed.
If u didn't get the pun, insans means insane. DuH.
AllRunFrisk 1 sans in this au is a child but I love the crossover and along with that aftertale ended

I've been in a straight jacket they're really painful. I've also been in a padded room It also was soundproof and indestructible glass. I was allowed too let my arms free for about six minutes then back in a straight lock. Only one meal a day. Reason, I had a problem which I would scratch my head until it bleed. I had to spend about umm... 10 years there before they let my out. I was a bad time...

I can really relate to some of what Asylum has gone through but I find this video inspiring in a way. To me it shows that regardless of our insanity that there is still someone who cares up both of us and that truly brings a smile to my face. Thx for this kid you did good 😊😎

I swear to god Asylums can’t do anything, if anything they make things worse for the patients by how they are treated. I swear “doctors” there forget that the patients are human beings, and yes all good intentions are to help them. But for all we know half those patients are people who are simply depressed and the way some people act stupidly at times get them there, and assumptions can be made and automatically classify these people as “insane”. And just because they’re unhinged doesn’t mean they don’t have feelings, and are completely stupid. Honestly how they’re treated is just bad in general, and this needs to improve. Sorry for the half rant, I’m just stating my opinion.

What is actually happening is that papyrus snapped first and is the cause of sans's insanity. Frisk is crying because papyrus is even crazier then sans and has to be restrained like that and frisk can't tell sans what happens when the two aren't together

Ok soooo (i don't know this for sure it is just a theory) i think chara killed papy making sans go crazy and begin to scratch himself till he bleads, he heard voices in his head, people like toriel and alphys found him, and put him in the asylum, then he started to see papyrus when no one else couldn't, sooner or later, frisk came along and found sans, and started becoming his friend, and introduced him to bandaids (which is is obsessed about now). I hope you understood what i said!
