    Well demonstrated Andy !! Especially the part to differentiate the Substitution Rxn of Alkane with UV light.. in addition to the usual Addition Rxn of Alkene 😁👍🏻👍🏻

    Doesn't the HCl decolourize the KMnO4 solution too? Because the chloride ions will consume the permanganate ions.
    So we can't be sure if it's the hex-1-ene or chloride that decolourized the KMnO4.
    Other than that, great video.

    how to explain the sentence 01:15, "which flame is sutiah"? the word sutiah cannot be consulted from the dictionary.

      I think he means sootier? “More soot”

      he's referring to soot. the flame of hex-1-ene can be seen producing more smokiness and the top of the flame. thats unreacted carbon in the form of soot due to the C=C double bond.
      he's asking which flame has more soot. soot-ier.
