Thanks Danny! When I go back and watch some of my first videos I cringe a little bit at the quality and lack of video editing skills, but I did enjoy making this robot very much. I especially love the weathering part of every project.
Who doesnt love robots ? .... this is fantastic , looks amazing , lve drawn and illustrated a few in the past now lm thinking l need to make some . Very inspirational 👏 👍
Thanks Jerry! I'm glad this inspired you to build your very own! I'm working on another astromech droid now, so please stay tuned for that video in the near future.
Thanks Joshua! I'm always amazed at how the acrylic wash can really give that worn, distressed look. That's one of my favorite parts of every project. Thanks for watching & commenting, and I'm glad you enjoyed the build. Stay tuned for more!
Sweet little industrial robot!! I love the tank treads...how did you make those?!? (I will need to binge your other videos to see if you showed how they were made.) Stumbled into your channel (I subbed right after watching that first video!) and I really love your scratchbuilt robots. Excellent detials and very believable designs. I can't wait to see your other creations as well as whatever you come up with in the future. Thanks for sharing such great content, keep on keeping on!!
Hi Earl, and thanks again! The treads are made from Uxcell brand elastic band, which can be found at sewing departments and craft stores. I found it at Walmart. I though it worked really well for the treads and will be using it again in more videos.
Thank you Dominiquea! For the robot tracks I used Uxcell brand Polyester Sewing Waistband. I found it at Walmart, but you can also find it on Amazon and at craft stores. I used the 1" wide band. The base for the Caterpillar wheels is constructed of cardboard.
Hi Mark, I loved watching how you painted this little guy, what a nice weathering, Bravo!
