- If you are someone who is a flower arrangement lover, try this simple technique to make a classy presentation. In this video, floral designer and stylist Nico de Swert explains how to create a gorgeous and easy floral arrangement for your home using vase fillers and some bulbs of fragrant flowers. This flower arrangement can be done within a few minutes, will stay for long and is surprisingly light on your pocket.
For this, Nico takes a rectangular glass vase, some bulbs of hyacinth flowers, some water and vase fillers. His vase fillers are the silver river rocks about one inch in diameter from Pottery Barn. To make the centerpiece, Nico trims the roots of the bulbs to about an inch using a floral clipper. In the next step, he puts in the vase fillers into the glass vase and places the flowers into this rock bed. To keep the flowers fresh, Nico adds water to the vase and the floral centerpiece is ready for use.
